No Thanks making threads on users o.o

well i have notcied that users including me have been making personal threads in the spam zone about that user hurtfull or good either way it can get very annoying and to personal....so i'm saying that we shouldn't make to many threads on users.

 

It IS a Spam Zone after all. Of course, if it's hurtful or whatever, the thread shouldn't even exist. :huh:

And of course, that's what PMing is for.

 

We actually used to have that as a rule. Everybody hated that rule.

Now it doesn't exist. 8D

 

I think hurtful threads shouldnt be allowed anyways Oo

But its sorta nice when people make threads about one person, especially if its something nice about that person. If its just a question for that user, keep it to PM :3

 

Agree. If a thread gets too personal then a mod will take care of it. You could even PM them and request that they do so.

 

I don't think the rule even lasted a week. But before it was out of hand but now it's more under control and there is no need to stop it.

I think they should bring back the rule that you can't make threads about other members or at least no negative threads about members... It's extremely ridiculous how some people *coughBEATcough* use their friends on the staff to avoid consequences.

 

Yes Beat's 2 bannings this year shows we let him slide all the time.

I personally always never liked that rule, We don't need to make it a rule, if a lot of abuse occurs we will react. All because you don't see the drama, it doesn't mean people go unpunished.

Threads not being allowed to be made about members would mean no more birthday threads or congrats threads. I am not going to support completely removing threads aimed at one person.

Also, bullshit do people get an easier ride because they have friends on staff. If anything they have a tougher ride because of we can't be seen to be favouriting our friends.

Some people need to realise that they can not get butthurt over every single little thing. I am not aiming this at anyone in particular but as much as some people need to grow up and stop making negative threads, other people need to grow a backbone.

Creating threads like this however is not the best way to go about creating a change (by that I mean pointing fingers)

I have friends on staff and I don't use them for special treatment. Nor does Vivi that I've witnessed. And like DA said, did you miss he's been banned twice this year?

I am not going to lie, I lol'd when I read the part about people who are friends with staff getting special privileges.

Take it from someone who has been on both sides of the matter, this is NOT true. No way in hell is there special treatment, this has been something people have been claiming for a long time now, though I find it funny that the ones who say it always look at the matter from a one sided point of view.
