For this story, I thought what if Sora, Donald, and Goofy were companied by one more person? From the world Earth? A young girl named Mione, who has no memory of her past(meaning she's not Kairi) and whose weapon is a silver sword with a ruby handle. When a Keyhole is sealed, a feather appears and given to Mione, giving her a memory of her past. Karina, who is in this chapter, belongs to me, and is very special!

    Chapter 1 The Promising Departure

The sun showered the stone castle school of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with beautiful sunlight, standing near the shoreline was a young girl around fifteen years old, she had shoulder length dark brown hair that stuck everywhere in the back in the most coolest manner and deep chocolate brown eyes. She had her hands folded together and her eyes closed, the wind blew through her hair, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore gave her a sense of peace.

'Karina.... I pray you're watching from above the clouds....' she whispered. 'If only you could see me now.... My hair is the way you always had yours..... I also can't believe still it's been four years already..... I miss you so much...... Karina, how could our promise be fulfilled?'

"Hermione!!!!" A voice broke the silent peace Hermione Granger almost had, she opened her eyes and turned to the source of the voice. Running up to her were two boys, one had shoulder raven black hair and bright emerald green eyes behind rimless round glasses and the other had shoulder flaming red hair and bright sea blue eyes. Hermione sighed and shook her head as they ran up to her, both breathless from the long run.

"Yes, Harry, Ron?" she asked, kneeling to face her two best friends. Harry Potter and Ron Weasley stood up straight, Harry pushed up his glasses. "We're late for Transfiguration," he said. Hermione gasped and nodded, walking with her best friends to their Transfiguration class. They took to the classroom on time, but as soon as McGonagall started, Hermione started to fall asleep and her head fell on her book. As she slept, a strange dream entered her mind.

Hermione walked down the shoreline of a beach, in the distance was a girl, for some reason she felt awfully familiar to Hermione. She smiled, it was her closest friend, Karina, tears filling up in her eyes, unable to stand still, Hermione started to run toward her first and closest friend, calling her name, "Karina!!!!! Karina!!!!!"

The girl heard her call and turned to her, smiling, and opened her arms for her. Hermione ran into her open arms and Karina wrapped her arms around her, embracing her only friend, stroking her hair. Hermione sobbed into her shoulder, Karina just continued to stroke her hair, the two friends stayed in each other's arms. If Harry or Ron were around, they would be happy for her, so she finally reunite with her first friend, after four years apart. The two girls sat down near the shoreline, staring out at the horizon and feeling the breeze in their hair.

"We're look exactly alike," Karina said, silently chuckling to herself. Hermione smiled and laughed a bit as well, she turned to Karina and asked, "Karina, how we keep our promise if you're gone?"

"If you live out it for the both of us," Karina said, smiling to her. "Besides, I know you can do it."

Hermione stared at the horizon, seeing a boy with silver hair in the same style of hers and Karina's standing in the water, he turned to them, extending his right hand to them, staring at them with knowing blue eyes. Hermione gasped and saw Karina fade away, she shouted, crying hard as she could, "Don't leave me, Karina!!! Karina!!!"

"Karina...." Hermione moaned, her head still laying on her book. "No.... Don't go..... Don't leave me, Karina..... Karina, not again....."

"Ms. Granger!" McGonagall shouted, waking Hermione up. The head of Gryffindor house or any of the students in the class never expected the top student to fall asleep in class, even Harry and Ron looked at her confused, since they heard her talk in her sleep, they wondered who was Karina?

As they left the classroom, Hermione looked completely embarrassed at her action in the classroom, Harry turned to her and asked, "Hey, Mione, who was this 'Karina' you were talking about in your sleep?"

"And what was the promise you two made?" Ron asked, Hermione sighed, she couldn't hide the fact of her friend to her best friends, so she explained to Harry and Ron that Karina was the first best friend she had before she came to Hogwarts, and that she and Karina came to Hogwarts during their first year, but something had killed Karina the night before Halloween, which why Hermione cried that day four years ago, she also explained that their promise was to explore the many worlds out there if there were any, but with Karina gone, that promise seemed impossible.

"But she told you if you live it out for the both of you, it will be possible, right?" Harry asked. Hermione nodded, remembering what Karina said, they headed for the Great Hall while Hermione still thought about the boy she saw in her dream.

Night fell and Hermione sat in the girls dorm, leaning in the window sill, still fully dressed and looking out the window. Her mind was full of question after her strange dream that let her reunite with Karina, and what happened in the dream. The boy she saw felt familiar, though she had never seen him, she sighed, running a hand through her hair and looked out the window. The night sky was getting illuminated slightly by a white blue light, flashing on and off. Hermione started to slowly rise into a sitting position, her smile fading. She could see lighting flashes illuminating the sky, the clouds, and the trees of the Dark Forest.

    "A storm?" Hermione wondered.

"Bloody Hell!" She heard Lavender Brown yell.

It seemed that the lighting and thunder struck too loud it woke up the whole dorm.

Hermione looked over at her dorm mates, all looking out their respected windows at the brewing storm. That’s when the brown-haired teen realized that her best friend was to be found in the boy’s dorm.

"Hey, have any of you guys seen Ron?" she asked.

    “I haven’t seen Ron before dinner.†Said Dean.

All of a sudden, a strange feeling came over her. Ron wouldn’t usually seek out and leave (at least without telling her). Deciding that she would go look for Ron, Hermione went to the boy’s dorm for Harry’s invisible cloak, only to find it missing. The teen ran out the dorm to the common room. There, she saw other members of her house gathering around (clearly awoken from the storm).

“Hermione!†A male voice called her name.

Hermione turned around a worried Neville, in his pajamas, holding a very fussy Hedwig.

    “Neville what’s wrong?â€

“Harry. He hadn’t come back to the dorm. I’m worried something might have happened.â€

First Ron then Harry, what’s the hell is going on?

“Neville, I’m going to look for them. Be back soon!â€

Before Neville could get another word Hermione dashed out the common room. The teen ran towards the Quidditch Patch, hoping that Harry was there, lighting and thunder booming in her ears. Hermione gasped for breath as she had just about reached the library. Her eyes drifted to a near by window.

“What the…†Hermione breathed aloud, her eyes narrowing.

Hovering just above the lake was a large blue-black colored orb. Its core glowed a sort of pinkish-orange color, and all across the surface of the orb were strings of what could only be described as lighting. Hermione’s eyes narrowed. This was no storm. No clouds were gathering, nor was the water of the lake any harsher than usual. But still, that giant orb couldn’t mean anything good. She continues her journey to the library, deciding not to bother with the giant orb. Hermione was now near Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom when her eye caught something. She froze, her eyes fixated on Harry’s invisibly cloak.

She clenched her teeth. What is this doing here? Hermione looked away from the cloak, placed the cloak in her robe, and searched what she could see of the Hallway. No Ron or Harry anywhere.

That’s when something dark rose up from the ground. It was bent over; its front limbs lowered to the ground, making it look something like a giant black ant with glowing yellow eyes. It bounced about, constantly shifting its weight from one crooked leg to the other. It wasn’t alone. More and more of its kind soon joined it. Hermione’s eyes widened. Her heart stopped for just a moment.

Hermione quickly grabbed her wand, pointing it at them. They took little hops toward her, and once they got close enough, they jumped at her. Hermione moved out of the way, turning slightly. She realized then that they had surrounded her. The ones behind her sent her tumbling forward, straight into others who sent her back. These things were real. The pain was enough to tell her that. Hermione bit her lips, swallowing her fear and panic.

    “Stupefy!â€

A chill ran down her spine, as the spell bounce off them. Clenching her teeth, Hermione spun around and started to run. Maybe she could escape from them. She stared at the creatures she had left behind, wide eyed. Maybe they wouldn’t follow her. Suddenly, Hermione was pushed back onto the ground by something that had hit her from the front. She looked. More of the shadow creatures’…Crap!

Hermione scrambled to her feet and continued to run. But where could she run to? Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom? Yeah, the bathroom seems to be the closes. She could be safe there. Hermione’s eyes widened in shock when she reached the door, it was covered. Not by a rock, but plants.

‘What the hell is going around here?’ Hermione thought, panicked.

    ‘Better go find Ron first.’

She spun around and began to run. The shadow creatures kept popping out. From where? Hermione didn’t know. They would just rose up from the ground, no matter where she went. And she couldn’t escape every flashing claw she encountered. It wasn’t long before parts of her arms and legs had scratches all over them.

The trees of the Forbidden Forest swayed as the wind began to pick up speed. Hermione looked around her frantically. She had run into a dead end. Where to run to? No matter where she went, those creatures would be there. She had to calm down. She had to think…Hermione frantically looked around her, there a balcony nearby on her right. Hermione looked to the balcony, and that’s when she realized…Someone was standing there.

    “Ron?â€

Hermione dashed to her long time friend, doing her best to ignore the shadow creatures. It was…Yes, it was Ron! It seemed like he was looking out into the horizon and holding something in his arms. Again, Hermione gritted her teeth as she came to stop just a few feet behind the red head.

“Where’s Harry!†She screamed, half angry, half panicked. “Isn’t he was with you?â€

    “Her..... mione....†came Ron’s voice, “Help.... me…â€

Ron’s voice was surprisingly termbling and scared. Hermione narrowed her eyes, confused.

“What? What's wrong Ron! Something seriously strange is going on around here, and you're starting to act very strange.â€

“You have to help me, Hermione!†Ron said as he turned to face her, reveiling he was holding Ginny in his arms, his voice louder. “You have to help me before the darkness gets me!â€

“What the hell are you talking about?†Hermione shouted, clenching her hands into fists. “We’ve got to find Harry!â€

“The darkness will get Harry too!†Ron shouted back, his voice almost trembling with fear, a strange gleam in his eyes.

Hermione was taken aback by the sudden tone, eyes widening. Her heart skipped a beat. What was going on? What had gotten into Ron? What was wrong with him!

“Once the darkness gets us, we might not be able to come back,†Ron said bluntly. He was now looking up at the glowing orb, which hovered directly above him now. “We may never see our family or friends again. There’s no turning back. But you're possibly our only hope.†Ron sounded calm, even somewhat remorseful. But what he was saying… “We need you to save us! We can't let the darkness take over!â€

Ron turned back to Hermione, a hint of a smile on his face and a somewhat crazy gleam in his eyes. He calmly outstretched one hand toward Hermione. Hermione had seen this before, too. Terror had completely seized her now…The boy in her dream.

Suddenly, a strong wind started to blow from behind Ron, Hermione tried to stand her ground, covering herself from the strange wind. When she looked up, she saw the strange wind pushed Ron forward, gritting her teeth, she opened her arms wide for them, Ron looked ready for grab Hermione...

But she wrapped her arms around.... nothing! Ron and Ginny had vanished! Hermione looked at her wand, only to find her wand was replaced by a beautiful silver sword, on the handle were rubies the size of eggs. She stared at the blade, engraved on the blade were the words: Godric Gryffindor. She realized it was the sword of Gryffindor Harry wielded in her second year.

Just then, the shadow creatures began to appear again. Hermione a gasped, spinning on her heel and dashing back across the hallway to the staircase. They reappeared on the staircase. They were popping up from everywhere. And it seemed like there were more of them!

Hermione began to swing the sword, panicked, not knowing what else to do. And, quite to her surprise, the sword was striking them. It was as though the sword could pop them out with just a few swings. Hermione grinned. It was time for revenge. She struck every shadow creature that came in her way, relishing in the fact that she could now kill them. And every time one vanished, she felt strength flow into her body.

While it was fun to kill these things, Hermione did eventually remember trying to find Harryin the Chamber of Secrets. Maybe now that she had the sword of Gryffindor she would be able to open it. That made sense enough, didn’t it? Hermione destroyed one more shadow creature before she headed for Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom.

Once Hermione reached, she raised the sword toward the vine covered door. She wasn’t quite sure what to do with them, though. She began to grow impatient, just waiting for something to happen. Hermione moaned and began to run in place, restless. For all she knew, those shadow creatures were surrounding her!

    “Agh, screw it!†Hermione grumbled.

She tucked the sword into the back of her belt and was just about to grab the door handles, when suddenly, the door opened on its own. Hermione stepped back, alarmed. As if her feet were working on her own she ran to the Chamber and used a spell to whisper the password. Like usual, the chamber open and she jumped down the opening. She ran to the door; much to her surprise to find the second entrance opened already. She ran down the stone tunnel, her arms pumping at her sides. There was something here. Something was different. Something…had changed.

There! Hermione could see a strange door just ahead of her. Suddenly, she realized where she had seen this door before. It had also been in one of her dreams. No doubt about it. They looked exactly the same, and they even opened the same way. She hesitated slightly before walking to the door.

Hermione entered the main chamber and screeched to a stop, her eyes catching something. “Harry!â€

Harry was standing in front of a strange wooden door. It seemed as though he had been merely staring at it all this time. He slowly turned around at the sound of his name. Something inside Hermione jumped. There was something different about him. He looked drained of energy, almost sickly. He eyes were half shut and glazed, his arms lying limp at his sides. His eyes moved as though vaguely aware that was anything in front of him.

“Hermione…†His voice was slow and dragging. It sounded almost like a ghost.

Her eyes widened at the sight of him, and the sound of him. What was going on? First Ron and now Harry?

He began to lift one arm each slowly, outstretching it toward her. Hermione lifted one hand toward him. There was something wrong with him. She had to help him somehow…Harry’s eyes began to widen. There was something in his face that looked terrified of something…

The door behind him suddenly exploded open. Some kind of dark force flushed out like a strong wind. Hermione had to shield herself from the blast. She forced her eyes open and looked back at Harry. The wind has pushed him forward. Hermione looked up at him and stretched out her arms in an attempt to catch him. Harry opened his arms slightly, ready grab onto Hermione…

Hermione closed her arms around…nothing. Harry had vanished also! Hermione’s eyes went in alarm. What…? She looked up into the newly opened doorway. Suddenly, the force strengthened, and Hermione went careening backwards down the hallway, tumbling head over heels until she popped out the other side or so she thought. She suddenly found herself losing consciousness, and being caught in someone's arms. She was completely unconscious when the person caught her, feeling a familiar touch for some reason.

The person who caught Hermione was a girl around her age, she had sandy blond hair similar in style to Hermione's and deep green eyes. She wore a black hooded coat, black gloves, everything black, she smiled and gently stroke Hermione's bangs.

"Mione, I hope you can hear this," she said, then started to sing. "I wanted to be like you. I wanted everything. So I tried to be like you, and I got sweeped away."

The girl held Hermione close as she continued to sing, "I didn't know that you were so cold and you needed someone to show you the way. So I took your hand and we figured out that when the time comes, I'd take you away."

Taking Hermione's hand, the girl turned to the brunette and smiled. "If you want to, I can save you. I can take you away from here. So lonely inside, so busy out there, and all you wanted was somone who cares."

Standing up, the girl still held Hermione's hand and continued to sing. "I'm sinking slowly, so hurry, hold up, your hand as I have to keep me hanging on. Please, can you tell me so I can finally see where you go when you're gone."

The girl started to walk to somewhere, still holding Hermione in her arms. "If you want to, I can save you. I can take you away from here. So lonely, so busy out there, and all you wanted was someone who cares. All you wanted was someone who cares. If you need me, you know I'll be there."

Finally, the girl stopped and fall to her knees, she turned to Hermione in her arms, smiling. "If you want to, I can save you. I can take you away from here. So lonely, so busy out there, and all you wanted was someone who cares."

She looked out toward the horzion, seeing a single feather float toward them. The girl softly whispered to Hermione, "Your memory has been scattered when you flew out, so until all of your memories come back, you'll be Mione...... I'm sorry..... Our promise will be fulfilled, and we'll reunite with nii-kun..... That I promise...."

The girl, who was Karina, caught the feather and held it close to Hermione, watching it slowly enter her body, giving her a faint image of a man with long messy raven hair and deep red eyes and a girl with sandy blond hair and deep green eyes. She was blown away to another world, with nothing but that image in her mind and a single word.

    "Mione....."
