Magic: Exists or not?

Do you believe in magic? I mean real magic not the fake magicians you see in circus. Magic has been really popular nowadays and i've been wondering if magic trully exists or is just a fairytale for kids. We see magic everywhere. In books and films: Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Eragon and other. Cartoon/manga/anime and videogames too. Also in the Middle ages the presence of magic was really strong and people were dieing because of that. To me it's 50/50. I believe in magic but on the other hand many people believe and religions too that magic is bad and there's only dark magic which is satan's power and way of manipulating people. What do you thing?

 

I personally don't.
Cause there has never been undeniable proof that magic does exist.
It's like religion. Unless God shows he really exists I will never believe in him...

No. To me, the Bible isn't proof enough...or enough real proof. I'm not saying this to get ppl mad, this is just what I believe.

Edit: On topic. About Magic, I was thinking that magic is a very general term...that actually accounts for any type of miracle. So if magic did exist...it could be anything from harry potter magic to..like anything else unimaginable.

 

Acceptable opinion. No problem. Anyway it would be really cool if magic did exist and it was as shown in Harry potter.

im christian but i belive in miraculus things so yes i belive in magic eragon:brisingr means fire.

I don't think magic exists. There's no living proof to whether magic is actually real or not.

Heh... It'd be nice if it did. But I seriously doubt it does. If there was magic, humans would just use it for their own personal gain. =/

Although my sister said a few minutes ago the only magic she believes in is that of physics and what not.

 

Eh...I'd love for something like magic to exist, just like I'd love for there to be a heaven and a hell, but I believe that what you see is what you get, and I've never witnessed true magic.

One of the--again--unsolvable questions, like "is there magic?" It's impossible to know for sure. In this universe, I don't think it's real--but in another it is, probably.
