Kingdom Hearts II Luxord's Challenge

I'm having major problems with the Luxord data copy, and gaining any boosts of any kind won't help this battle!

The thing I'm stuck on is when his Time is close to running out and many cards are 'in' the floor, and a wall of cards surrounds you and Luxord as you are forced to complete a challenge in which you press 'O' whenever the 'O' sign appears on bars on the Command Menu.

I. This must be completed or else you CANNOT win.

II. I manage to press 'O' on the first bar, but when I do on the second Sora either gets turned into die, or the time for the challenge runs out [thus turning Sora into a die].

Is there something wrong I'm doing? Am I supposed to press 'O' on every bar when 'O' appears, and/or when 'X' appears? I'm sorta confused here -_- ..

 

You want to get them to stay on O on each of your slots. They get progressively faster as you go down. If you get it right, it will stop changing on that bar. Each time you stop one, your cursor goes back up to the top. If you get them all you pretty much have the fight won. When i did it he had like a quarter of his bar left and it took the whole thing down, i just had to hit him with a finish.
