This is me continuing from this thread. I wanted to give it a new thread, the old one may be locked if someone with authority sees it. Anyhow, what's new is that I worked on it a bit, and it's still not 100% finished yet. As of now, I have titled it lullaby, but I might change it. Anyhow, Clicky! What do you think? Anything I should change? Thanks
I think it's a pretty relaxing thing, sounds more like a loop. But overall, it's not bad. Though, it needs to be brighter and it also needs some panning to the right side. Probably a bit of reverb, and I'm not too sure, but I think it'd benefit from some EQ where the high frequencies are a bit higher.
It's very beautiful but at the same time it reminds me a lot of Fall For You by Second Hand Serenade for the first....about 25-30 seconds. I don't know if that was on purpose or not. It's rather good but at the same time in the back of my mind I feel as though something's missing in the middle sadly I can't put my finger on just what.
I think its a very nice, relaxing song, with a sweet sound to it. And yes I did want to fall asleep listening to it. Though at the same time,it could be a bit longer or something,as its over very quickley.
Yeah, it does feel a bit like a loop, that's because I have only finished 3 "parts" of the song. What do you mean by brighter? As far as the panning goes, I know. I'm having some problems with the sound, but I'll get that fixed as I finish it. I'll definitely fix it up as far as EQ goes, but this is just the raw recording, with no touches added at all, which makes it lack the technologic side to it. Thanks! Thank you, as far as it reminding you of Fall For You, that isn't intentional. It is most likely the chord progression that does it. Something is lacking as of now, which is something similar to a bridge or a pre-chorus. Thanks! Thank you, and yeah, it's not finished yet, so it will definitely be longer. I'll have to see how long I can make it, it will, depending on what I do with it, end up somewhere between 3-7 minutes, so it's a long span :) Thanks for the feedback guys and girls. If anyone else have something to add, please do!
This is really good. Could have used a tad bit of variety variety though. Maybe a bridge, or maybe mess around with the higher octaves a little more, but overall it was pretty nice. As far as EQ goes, the great thing about pianos is there's not really a perfect set up for mixing and you can do all sorts of things, so you're all good there. Don't know if you'd ever want to collaborate with someone, but I've been making electric music for over 4 years now. Don't know if you might want to work together on something.
Thanks, I will, as mentioned above I'll add some parts to it, I just have to figure out the chord progression and chords to use. And I have already contacted you :)
