we had an earthquake at 11:54am. the media are all arguing about the size, bu the NGSA says it was just a 5.4....




I've seen worse. I not impressed.

Yeah I felt that.But nothing compared to the Northridge earthquake.

 

I know, it was like a free foot massage lol. Northridge was crazy, freeways crumbled, people died, buildings collapsed. What part of cali are you in? I'm in OC, the quake originated in Chino Hills

 

I was 2 when the Northridge earthquake hit so I don't remember it.But my parents would tell what happened that day.I'm in North Hollywood.It was pretty strong for me to be able to feel it here.I've felt small earthquakes before but today I was scared.This was the first big one I've felt.

 

Nothing can beat the 'Great Quake of 27/2/08'

There are no quakes in new york as there are no hurricanes, tornadoes or major blizzards. So im lucky...

But I was living in san francisco at the time that 7.2/7.6 earthquake struck...that famous one...during the early 90's...

 

At least it was not 3:56 AM.

There are major blizzards in all the Northern States, including New York. 1888, for example.

There was an even larger San Francisco Earthquake in the early 20th Century.

 

Ehh... this earthquake was NOTHING. Ditto, NOT impressed. I've seen worse. I just liked the fact that my bed felt like a waterbed for 30 seconds or so. <333

5.4 Erathquake is NOTHING compared to the quake from '94 Northridge one... that was BAAAAAAAAD.

 

I still say San Francisco 1906 was horrible.

 

Perhaps... but hun, we weren't alive for that one, and neither were my parents... xDDD

The aftermath was horrible too. Fires everywhere. The Firefighters couldn't get to certain places, and they were burned to the ground.

It sounds like I was there myself. :D
