Okay, before you say "Your computer doesn't have good enough specs", read the entire post. (I'm not saying my computer is god-like, but with my situation I doubt that's the issue.)

I recently purchased Star Wars: The Old Republic, I can play it just fine when I'm in an out-doors area (In-game is what I mean, not literally playing the game outside), but whenever I go indoors, the FPS drops to a near unplayable level. I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end or if it's a problem with the game itself.

Here are my specs in case anyone needs to see them:
    CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 840T Processor
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4200
    RAM: 7gb

If there's any other specs needed, I shall post them.

Also, I am playing the game on the lowest settings possible, and it's the same: Good outside, horrendous inside. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have anything else running, close those programs before you start it up. Also, if the game has Addons that take up have amounts of memory, get rid of the un-necessary ones. I know that can happen on WoW, so I'm thinking it may be something like that.

If there's still Difficulty, try to see if theres an option thaat allows you to lower the graphics settings.

EDIT - Didn't see the last bit in the first post.
    Try updating your drivers.

I have had similar problems in certain areas, where even whole rooms disappear from me when I walk through them and I pop out at the other end.
If you have down all of what people have advised from the above and it's still happening, I would advise reinstalling the game if it persists and is becoming unbearable, using either the game disks or redownloading from the client you bought it off of or re download it from the TOR website.

You may be an unlucky individual who got a glitchy game when you downloaded to your hard drive, so a re download might help.

Also, try putting your settings up higher, sometimes I've found the low settings are glitchier than the higher ones.

I found out that I wasn't the only one having this problem. I found a thread on the swtor.com forums and found that disabling shadows completely greatly improves performance. Still, Thank you all for your suggestions.
