I entered a poetry contest at my school, and this is the entry I used for it... I hope it's good enough because I turned it in today! ^^' Well I hope you guys like it! :P Silence fills the air. A deep, echoed silence That sends chills up my spine. I am waiting. The key to my heart Is lost with my love. The comfort I once felt, Diminished. But what is love? A feeling of attraction? Or a silly game? Who knows. A thousand petals Litter the ground, The feelings of my love, Trapped within my heart. Chains suffocate me. I'm lost within a world of hate. What is love? I'm still waiting.
