Background: Plot: Being a diehard PotO fan, I'm a bit wary of this. The most recent movie was kind of bad enough, and while I trust that Weber knows what he's doing (I hope) I'm still iffy on whether this will do the Phantom justice. Not sure if want. Thoughts?
I'll be jubilant when the day comes that people keep their paws off the classics. I don't think the Phantom of the Opera needs a sequel.
*sigh* If only people could just accept that a plot ends when the curtain closes. What happens on the stage, stays on the stage. I hope this isn't made into a movie too. While I'm not bouncing off the walls with excitement for this, I am interested to see what kind of plot they came up with. And, as always, I would love to hear more music from Mr. Webber. Not sure if I'll go see it myself, but if anyone I know goes to see it, I'll ask how it was and if it's worth paying for.
