Somehow a simple exercise to see if I could remove glare off of an eye became a full project. Although I made this very casually, CnC is always appreciated.
If you are using Photoshop, do a surface blur on it, anywhere on the threshold from 10-17. This is because the Eye, The Cloud, And the Sunset you put in the pupil doesn't Blend in well with the background. On the top of the eye right above the iris, there is a little line of something, idk what it is, but it is just bugging the crap out of me right now. If you could, blend that in a little bit more. And with the paths, maybe get a 500 pixel brush with the hardness set at 0, and hold it in the middle of the eye and just click once. Maybe do the same thing on the dots layer too. You have an interesting Concept going on here, just blend it in a little bit more.
I agree with what Fallen King said about the blending, but I do think its amazing anyway! Its so...dramatic,and eye catching, and the whole idea of it is genius. Keep up the great work :3
I'm using GIMP and I'm currently looking into a tool to do that. It isn't a tool that I've used before though, so I need to give myself a bit of time to figure it out before I show the results here. Luck holding I might update it tonight. That is glare off the ridge of the eye. It never bugged me since I knew what it was but I understand how after all the blending it does seem "out there" A note to bug you until I upload a fixed up version, there is another one under the eye masked by the clouds. I'll see about adding in a bit more dimension on that. yeah. Thank you. Thank you. As an added bonus no one has mentioned the text. That has been a peice I've struggled with.
