They are honestly my favorite band and after hearing their single "Burn It Down" I am in great anticipation for their next album. Anyone else?

I'm actually not that impressed with Burn it Down, but I'm excited for the new album, and witholding judgement until it comes out.

From what I've heard of the single, I'm honestly not looking forward to the new album all that much. "Minutes to Midnight" was barely good and "A Thousand Suns" wasn't much better (it was like they were half-crap, quarter-OK, and quarter-awesome). Honestly, they barely sound like the old band that I loved ("Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora"). I think they oughtta take some of the new sounds and styles and fuse them with more of the older styles (not exactly just the old stuff, but none of the lame new styles either).

    EDIT:

I've heard "Burn It Down" and "Lies Greed Misery" now. I really don't care for either of them. What the hell happened to their style? Its not even close to any of the old, likeable stuff they used to do so far. I want to hear heavy guitar riffs and drums and passionate, personal lyrics, not this new-age hip-hop crap with doses of political commentary. Linkin Park are trying too hard to be another band.
