Traditional Art Link drawing (unfinished)

Alrite, before I finish screwing this drawing up, I want to see if there's stuff I should fix up before moving on. Remember, it's unfinished so do NOT point out obvious things like "I forgot to color a big chunk of something" or stuff like that. I haven't shaded much yet and all I want now is to see if it's proportionally accurate or something like that.

Shirt design advice would be nice too...

 

That is some really talented work! Lots of effort even in the shading. I like Link's new look (Link with Hoodie FTW...that's a compliment) I think i'll keep an eye on your work from now on. GJ.

 

Hmm . . . the head seems a little awkward, in my eyes. The problem is the head looks flat in that region. You can fix this by either redrawing the top of his head, to give it a better shape, or by adding more volume to this hair, or taking some hair out of the circled region. The excess amount of hair by the ear, or the lack of hair at the top is only thing that's giving the picture an awkward look, like his head was in the shape of a plane.
His neck need to be a little long and the position of his head on the neck is also a little awkward . . . maybe because the head to shoulder proportion is incorrect. The shoulders need to be longer, whereas you've brought them down really fast. Also the perspective his body, or his shoulders are a little off too. What I mean is, that compared to the head, the body is too small. O.o' So, if it's not too late by now, then I would recommend that you fix these minor problems.
As for shirt design, I like what he's wearing . . . keep it. ^_^- Oh, almost forgot, his whole had of hair seem to lack volume, make it fuller. xD I'll be waiting to see a finished version. Good luck!!
