What's your take on extraterrestrial life?

Personally, I think aliens exist, and some are probably intelligent, but they don't come to Earth.

I agree with you. You may have the same intelligence level as we do, but like us, they don't have the technology to go to other worlds. For all we know, the reality like those of some video games could actually exict. But we wouldn't know, because they live very far away.

Well the photos of the planets never showed any life. So I don't believe it... @.@

What are talking about? Are you talking about this solar system? If so, hate to burst you bubble, but there are over 200 known exoplanets in this galaxy alone. The number is climbing rapidly. Plus, they found a planet that may be habitable about 20 lightyears away. We can't go there, but it's nice to know that we're not alone.

Yeah but how could any life live on other planets. Its always rather too hot, or too cold. And even if there was 'life' that could be used to too hot, or too cold they need food, water. And if your saying they don't need that, then they can't get energy.

... Oops. Yeah, it might fit better there. Move to your heart's content.

^There there two planets that are known to be in the Goldilocks Zone: Earth and Gliese 581c. And Gliese 581c is close by in astronomical terms. There are billions of galaxies. And the planets we've found so far are only in this side of the galaxy.

EDIT: Also, for food, they can eat each other, and water is actually quite easily made naturally. Also, water is not the only solluble capable of supporting life. There is liquid ammonia on many planets and moons.

I'm sure aliens exist. After all, I believe that the universe is endless and if it is, it's just stupid to think that the Earth is the only place in in where life can be found. However, I highly doubt aliens will ever come to Earth.

I think that there has to be aliens or at least some microbes or something like that because space is soo huge. There just has to be one planet that is suitable to living.

Well, maybe there is life somewhere else.

Maybe, maybe not. But I'm pretty sure they look a lot like us, why not? :)

And, if they are out there, maybe they're so far away they can't get to us.

So sofa, your telling me that in the entire universe, which is pratically endless like the list of number, the thousands upon thousands of solar systems and the possible millions of planets and even more moons, that you can honestly tell me out of all of them, that Earth, is the only one that can support life?

If they can make crop circles, the process to abduct/kill cows without any mess and that we see them with flying saucers

    I say they're real!

I'll move it to the intelligent section~ Just so it'll fit and since the author wanted it to~

    Moved

    Anyway, my opinion:

I think there are living beings out there, maybe thousands, just in different solar systems. Either that or we're the first beings or the last~

Ya know what? I just watched this documentary about Planet Mars.It said that it used to have water,so maybe it could have life in like a million years ago.(It's the prescense of dry lakes but these could probably be caused by craters falling on the planet.)

But other than that, there have been some evidence like crop circles so maybe Mars used to have living things in it? We never know.Only God knows.

As a Catholic, I'm not supposed to believe in any other kind of lifeform besides the ones on Earth. Bull crap that for this moment.

Now, it can't be proven yet, but I believe it's ******ed to think we are the only living species in the galaxy, much less the universe.

To the Christians who believe that God didn't make life on other planets: That's not just a waste of space; it's an INFINITE waste of space.

Many sientist think Europa, One of Jupiter's moons may have liquid water beneath it's ice suface and there for may have some form of life.

Don't forgot Titan. Many scientist say that it's very much like a young Earth.
