Let us say

That there is a strange person coming towards you with malicious intent, and that you just happen to have a gun. Do you shoot? If you do, do you shoot to wound them, or shoot to kill them? He is armed, he knows that you are armed and he is damn serious about hurting you.

 

I wouldn't shoot them unless they had a weapon themselves.

 

Do they know that I have a gun?

Otherwise...depends how I feel if he lives or dies.

 

How do you know they are coming towards you with malicious intent? What if they just look grumpy.

Anyways, it depends on whether they a) knew I was armed b) whether they were armed and c) whether they stopped after I had warned them I was armed.

If I warned them I was armed and told them to stop and they still carried on coming at me and they definitely were trying to hurt me, then I would shoot to wound.

Well it depends on if they are malicious or just creepy...and if they have a weapon or not, but if they pull out a weapon and yell "You are dead!!!" then i would shoot to kill....

 

I would kill him.

 

Then shoot to wound and get away.

However, I can't say 100% what I would do until that situation arises.

 

I would probably shoot just to wound him if he looked like he positively wanted to hurt me. But I guess it would depend on any specific circumstances.

 

I can't be sure, I might just freeze in a situation like that. But as I can think straight now I'd probably shoot to wound him/her, either in the leg or the weapon arm, and then get the hell away from there.
But knowing my aim, I'd probably end up killing him/her by accident, or missing completely >-<​

 

My aim is so terrible I'd probably shoot to wound him and end up killing him.

 

Yell at them to stop, if they continue, warn to shoot. if they continue, Shoot to wound or Shoot to castrate (if male), Although I doubt my aim is good enough to do that.

If I couldn't shoot, I'd slowly walk back out onto a public street or similar, hopefully leading them to follow. Then if they kill/injure me or anyone else, they'd be caught red-handed.

 

I'd shoot to wound him (most likely somewhere in the right leg), and while he's in pain on the ground, I cover his mouth, drag him into an alley and I begin to interrogate him.

Hey, there are people who'd send other people after me. When sending someone mail, it's a courtesy to identify yourself so the receiver can thank you properly.

Basic manners, ladies and gentlemen.

 

Well...It would be better to wound & interrogate, but I doubt I'd even have the ability to do something like that. I mean, guns aren't that easy to handle. I'd just probably kill him, get his cell-phone and start getting some answers....And then fight the mafia scum thst sent a killer after me, or something.

I'm not a killer like that [doesn't matter how many ants I have burnt with a magnifying glass] I'd most likely freeze in that sort of situation. But if my blood doesn't completely run cold I would shoot them enough to injure them, not kill them. Because then I would be up for murder & as cool as that may sound to some of you on a permanent record, I don't want that. I'd try to find a way and not shoot them and get away, but if all else fails I'll shoot them. I would shoot them in the knee making it hard for them to walk, not in the stomach as it would result in death anyway. And in the shoulder blade, so if they have a weapon that they want to draw it'd be hard for them to and I'd get away :'D

 

Shoot to wound. If I were to kill him then there would possibly be charges of first degree murder on myself, and I would not like that. Hopefully the police would realize that I only shot him in self defence.

 

Shoot to scare the crap out of him and then run but only if he was armed with a knife or something, not a gun.
