When the clash of swords echo, the journey chasing the past ends and the journey to know today begins. One soul seeks another and pledges their sworn friendship to another. One mystery begets the next and the doors of fate are opened. ​

The Great Creator and the Divine Tree​

The Divine Tree is the tree of life. All life comes from this Divine Tree. In the beginning, nothingness filled the world. Then the Creator, Soa, descended from the sky. He and his followers created the world. And in the end, Soa sowed a seed on the Earth. The seed than grew to be a great tree! The great tree bore 108 fruits and various life forms rose from the ripened fruit. Thus 108 forms of life were created to fill the Earth. The Divine Tree completed its role, but the story says it is still protected...by the Signets of Soa!
Dragons rose from the 105th fruit. Humans were born from the 106th and Winglies from the 107th. Finally, the God of Destruction itself was the 109th fruit.

The Dragon Campaign​

As if they were gods, Winglies ruled over all living creatures and used them as slaves. The enslaved suffered a terrible domination and injustice. Their anger turned into a flame of fury...then a gust of wind blew throughout the lands, spreading the flames to a blazing fire! The wind was Emperor Diaz. Seven incarnations of dragons served the Emperor; their bravery inspired people to take up arms. Thus began the Dragon Campaign. The "dragon incarnations" were given the powers of dragons and the ability to rule over them. It was a harsh war. Humans were soon joined by many dragons, while the 7 humans with the power of dragons were dubbed "Dragoons." Both people and Winglies suffered countless injuries and fatalities. After a long period of suffering, it was the humans who acquired the future. The age of humans had begun!

The Serdian War and the God of Destruction​

11,000 years after the Dragon Campaign, Winglies had fell into obscurity. The land of Serdio erupted into a civil war. After the war ended, it was revealed that it had been orchestrated by Melbu Frahma, the emperor of the Winglies during the Dragon Campaign who had managed to stay alive using a power spell. Melbu Frahma's plan was to revive the God of Destruction, though in the end he had become it. With the fate of the world at sake, 7 new Dragoons harnessed the power of the Divine Dragon and destroyed Melbu Frahma, bringing peace to the world.

End of Days War​

2,000 years after the Serdian War, the land of Endiness is in peace. The four countries -Serdio, Tiberoa, Mille Sesau, and Gloriano- have not entertained the idea of war for centuries. Winglies have integrated themselves with humanity and two live in peace, though Winglies still pale in numbers when compared to humans. Dragoons have not been seen since the Serdian War and dragons are considered long extinct. However, the new king of Serdio, King Nuvola, has ignited a war. The ambitious king used a dark magic to copy the magic of ancient Dragoons and create Avatars, incarnations of extinct monsters, similar to how Dragoons are incarnations of dragons. With his army and the Avatars, King Nuvola attacked the neighboring kingdom of Tiberoa and overwhelmed it. Now, he has both Serdio and Tiberoa under his reign. Gloriano and Mille Sesau have taken up arms against the Serdian Kingdom together, but their army is no match for an army of Avatars.

In a moment of desperation, the Queen of Mille Sesau, Rosa, commanded a young knight named Rhyswick to find 7 warriors, each with a specific quality: courage, heart, loyalty, honor, trust, commitment, and knowledge. These warriors were needed in order to combat the threat. Rhyswick searched all of Gloriano, Mille Sesau, and Tiberoa (though he had to be careful here) and found 7 warriors, bringing them to the Queen. The Queen led them to an ancient cavern underneath a mountain and revealed a hidden haven.
The haven was filled with hundreds of large eggs...as well as 7 dragons:
Igneel, the Red-Eyed Dragon of fire, representing courage.
Ultear, the Blue Sea Dragon of water, representing heart.
Metallicana, the Golden Dragon of earth, representing loyalty.
Grandeeney, the Jade Dragon of wind, representing knowledge.
Weisslogia, the White-Silver Dragon of light, representing commitment.
Skiadrum, the Dark Dragon of shadow, representing trust.
Dreyar, the Violet Dragon of lightning, representing honor.

Queen Rosa revealed that hundreds of years ago, the rulers of the four kingdoms had found a way to breed dragons once again. The four rulers kept this a secret from the world, except for a small group dedicated to breeding the dragons. Mille Sesau was chosen to be the haven of the dragons. Except for the Queen of Mille Sesau, the rulers would not tell the successor which other kingdom held the haven, in order to avoid war. Queen Rosa believes that King Nuvola is invading the other kingdoms in order to find the haven. The seven warriors brought before her will be chosen by the dragons as the new Dragoons. They will be tasked with finding a way to defeat the Avatars of Serdio.
