I love the flame effect, and the the wave effect you did on that duplicate of Charizard's wing is nice as well. I don't really have anything specific to complain about other than the fact that it's a tad too simple in my opinion. Try adding some blending (gradient maps, etc.) and maybe a C4D to make a nice extra effect or some artificial flow. Overall though, I like it. Good job, especially considering that it's your second real attempt. Huge improvement over the first.
