Does anyone here watch Bleach? If not I suggest you do. In any case, am I the only one that finds these last two episodes nothing more than fillers for fillers? We could have gone straight to the Past Arc but instead we get 2 episodes about Kenmari.....why, why are we tortured like this? Edit: yes I'm talking about the dub, I don't watch the sub, I just read the manga. And last I checked, the manga didn't have any filler
I'm going to have to assume you're talking about the dub... If you're going to recommend Bleach, recommend the manga, because the anime is very iffy unless you skip all the fillers. The most recent filler in the jap subs is actually pretty well done, though. The fight scenes are good, they're using the animation they use for the movies and the plot actually makes chronological sense from where the canon episodes left off.
Not to mention the Jap Sub is currently in a filler arc after Ichigi defeated Aizen and happily, this filler arc isn't random but it's as interesting as Zanpakuto Rebellion filler arc. Besides this filler arc might go on for a while since the Fullbring arc just started, from what rumors say, Kubo plans on doing one more canon arc and finish Bleach but since Naruto, One Piece, D-Grayman and Fairy Tail are hot running series, they are all going to be remembered as anime and manga to get.
First of all, be careful where you talk about the Aizen thing, since people watching the dub haven't got that far yet. It counts as spoilers. As for the sub, I'm loving the new arc too for the same reasons as you have said, it actually fits in chronologically and the story is really good. Although, I have to say that I've heard different rumours from you about Bleach's future. Kubo has said that Bleach is in fact only barely halfway through. Which means we'll have a whole lot more to come if that is in fact true. Of course, I haven't read the manga I'm afraid... I've been sticking with the subs since ep one. So, I dunno how much further (although I presume it's a lot) the manga is, but we can still assume that there is still a fair amount more of the manga to come too. Either way, I'm looking forward to whatever happens next. XD
well, at the moment I'm looking forward to the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc, and the fight between Ichigo and Aizen, but who wouldn't want to see that? I just wish Japan would stop making all these filler episodes, because we dub them and then we get stuck with them as well.
They have to make the fillers, or else the anime would catch up with the manga and there would be a long wait for any episodes at all. Oh, and I don't like the fillers, but I understand they are a necessity. I love the show ^^,
I know we need fillers, but what i mean is the useless fillers like these last two. I don't even know if we're getting another episode this week. This last season seemed pretty short imo. And I don't mind fillers, since some of them are pretty good, like the New Captain arc and Bount arc(wait, aren't these the only filler arcs so far?)
I'm not that big on going one hundred-ten years in the past. I was looking forward to see more of the Princess and what do I get? Filler.

Yeah I have to agree. I got a bit confused when they came on, sure I was entertained by them but I see no reason for them really. If it was to fill in time waiting for the manga to be released then fine but it was a bit of a stupid argument that they had. I would have preferred something more interesting but I don't know what and I'm no writer. I suppose it didn't help that I was getting restless over wanting to watch the past arc so it just felt like a huge inconvenience.
