I joined Last.fm last month and I have to say, I really like it. For those who have been living under a rock, Last.fm is a music website like most other music websites. It has the full-tracks and 30-second previews, profiles for bands, and profiles for you. But what really makes it stand out is its 'Scrobbling' feature. Scrobbling basically tracks what you're listening to through your favorite music player and records it on you Last.fm profile. Based on what you listen to, it will start to recommend bands and/or songs for you, as well as make you a 'Recommended Radio'. So it's great for finding new stuff to listen to. Another fun feature is that you can check your 'Neighbors' -- that is, people with similar tastes in music. And if you stumble across someone's profile, you can check your musical compatibility with them. So yeah. Link your profile if you've got one, or if you don't, make one. :] http://www.last.fm/user/wearebeautiful And if you'd like, we can use their "Paste Your Tastes" thing: c: I'm into indie, electronic, folk, alternative and experimental, including: Johnny Foreigner, Los Campesinos!, Alex Trimmer, Jeremy Soule, Dntel, Lullatone, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Slow Club, Matt & Kim, Elizabeth Cotten, Lucky Dragons, John Williams, 65daysofstatic, Bright Eyes, Xiu Xiu, Johnny Flynn, Parenthetical Girls, UNKLE, The Antlers, Éric Serra, Noah and the Whale, blink-182, Kimya Dawson, OST, Cat Like Thief, Say Hi to Your Mom, Passion Pit, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, The Most Serene Republic, +44, Bobby Johnson, Still Life Still, Defiance, Ohio, Hellogoodbye, Tokyo Police Club, Bowerbirds, Figurine, The Shins, Tender Forever, The Middle Ones, Neutral Milk Hotel, No Kids, Au Revoir Simone, Laura Marling, The Madrigals, 宇多田ヒカル, Angels & Airwaves, High Places, Danny Elfman, Mushman.
