School is eating me up slowly hence inactivity =u= But anyway, yeah, no superman here. I was just, explaining school. I guess. I just wanted some critique and opinions on some of my works again. I need to improve ;__; So here we go! Spoiler ---------------------------------------------------------------- I love spoiler tags man. Here's an old sketch (LIKE SO OLD MAN. Okay not really, back in November of 2011) and everything looks wrong. Tiny, tiny itty bitty hands, awkward body structure and the like. So many weirdness in the sketch itself but I made this for my friend who shares a passion with everything Peter Pan so this was a Christmas present for her. Mainly what I did here, was practice light source. I'm not sure if I got that entirely right so I would like to ask about that. And yes, this was so rushed. I didn't bother cleaning up lines and whatever. Haha. Spoiler I'm sure no one recalls that last sketch of this bunny thing I posted some months ago I think but I decided to colour it and this is how it turned out c: Spoiler And lastly, MY FIRST EVER COMMISSION HOLY CRUD (over DeviantArt). This was really fun. I used LetraSet Pro and Tria Markers (I want Copcs so bad) and I just used photoshop to adjust lighting and remove most of the background. I'm so happy that the comic store I went at saw this and asked it to be displayed there, which I'm checking out in about an hour actually n__n But personally I don't know about the actual drawing itself I'm just, kind of odd about it at one point :r Spoiler ---------------------------------------------------------------- Muchas gracias for even having the time to look at this n__n Share to me whatever opinions and critique you have, it would be much appreciated c: <3
Yay more of your most splendid work! Alright the first picture. The colors are done well on this one, it's really cute. I love the skirt, good job on making that have some real depth there missy! c: I just noticed her name was Dolly, haha I like that on there. The face looks pretty good, the one eye is slightly larger than the other, but it looks good! The hair and the ears are adorable, really well drawn. The things I see that could be improved are; The arms are definitely not proportionate, but I don't need to tell you that. The box doesn't look right, like the angles are off. Her hips are rather small and her bust is rather saggy. I remember critiquing the second one. Very cute, I like the colors you used on her. I love her hair color and her ears are really adorable. Things that could be improved on this piece are watch out for the elongated necks, but I stated that before. Also, the edges could be smoothed out a wee bit. I love the third one, very shecksy~ The "Joker is really menacing I like how it doesn't look silly. His collar is awesome. I like the detail in the clothing of the gal, very good. The composition of this piece is great. The only things I see that could be improved are, more color, darker shades and detail in the Joker, seems rather bland. The gal's waist is not capable of bearing children!! D: Generally a woman's waist is about 3 head widths wide, whereas her shoulder's are 2. (Men are the reverse, by the by.) Her forearms are rather long, the elbow will be around the naval, and the wrist will be around the crotch. Super-duper great job -di~ I really love critiquing your marvelous work, I do hope you make more!
OH LLAVEY! I love your criticism. Always. <3 You master pro, you. Hehe thank you! Her name is Dolly - which I also love so much, I say her name too often when we skype I swear xD - it's just so cute man. I agree with all those mistakes. Dear God, they look so bad ;__; I will definitely work hard on those. Puuu, I wish I could just draw her all over again but school was all like "HI DIN I KILL YOU >:c" And I felt bad since it was already late January and I haven't given her Christmas present yet ;____; Maybe I'll redraw this in the future since I love fairies so much anyway 8D Thank you!! I was so flummoxed by her colours it's insane. I really didn't know where to start - so I just used my best friend's favourite colours xD xD Necks are another one of my kryptonite. I shall work hard on that. Very. I actually also found her eyes quite off... I don't know, are they? :c I shall also give more time to cleaning out lines in the future hehehederp. She has so much cleavage it's disturbing AHH. I don't like boobs lol ;___; It's awkward. Hehehe, I'll try out those proportions in my next commission! Since the person asked for full body too xDD Thanks so much for those notes, I'll try my hardest to be more accurate. GAH THANKS SO MUCH LLAVEY YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. *HUGGLES*
Aw shucks, I love critiquing work, I feel good knowing that someone knows I took time to look at their work. I actually think the eyes look fine on the bunny gal, really pretty eyelashes and such. Breasts are a natural thing on females, so they need to be drawn if you want them to look like a woman. (Well, depending on her age, and all that.) It can be awkward, but it's more awkward if they aren't drawn right. You did good on the third picture. <3
It's nice to also know someone takes time to look at your work xD It's very nice, actually c: Aw, shucks. Thanks! Eyelashes are always my favourites hehe ~ Unfortunately, yes. I agree with you there. Lol. And yay! Thanks so much again n___n <3
Ohhhhh my dear, these are wonderful. And I love how Llave dear has said everything that needs to be said about proportions and stuff,so I just get to say how much I love them <3 Colours etc are just wonderful,I am most glad to see that beautiful bunny rabbit one all prettyful and stuff, and as usual sweetie, you have proved that you are one of the most talented artists on here. Ever so much love, and please keep up the wonderful work.
; u ; Uwahh, thank you so much Daxa darling ! <33 You are just the sweetest. I'm glad that you find the colours nice on the bunny rabbit one hehe~ I kept changing them over and over again xD
