Square-Enix Kojima Tells Nomura to Remake Final Fantasy VII and to "Hurry up and release KH3D"

    Rather interesting news, although it's more gossip than anything else. Even so, it shows that they're aware of the fans' feelings, which is always good. Twitter usually provides trivial inform8ion, 8ut it's usually interesting to some degree.

    Oh I actually didn't know that Kojima and Nomura were friends. Kojima is a well respected man, so maybe him saying that he should remake FFVII makes it more of an option, probably won't mean that much though.

    I feel a little bad that he'll never know that people are looking forward to the new Zelda game though D:

    I thought they only made the FFVII demo for a reason. Didn't they just run out of spare time to make a remake?

    Apparently it was just a tech demo to show what the PS3 is capable of compared to other consoles.

    Either way, gossip or not, this is good news. It would mean that Nomura will now know what he's doing right and what isn't working (Like the god damn waiting between games).

    I don't think Nomura will remake FFVII just because a friend of his wants it. What about the numerous fans who wants Kingdom Hearts 3? Does friendship come first before die-hard fans? I sincerely doubt it. Interesting gossip yes, but as news, not really.

    They can wait. KH3 comes first. Besides, why remake FFVII when you can remake another FF title that's actually good?

    Anyways, I'm assuming Nomura didn't take Kojima too seriously. After all, how many people would? Stop making Metal Gear games and get back to Zone of the Enders!

    I wouldn't consider this good or bad news. It's just something interesting. I had no idea they were friends. Pretty cool actually.

    Well there is the fact that Nomura probably respects Kojima, unlike his own fans. Hearing it from someone he actually respects might help the decision along. Not that I think it will, just saying it is a possibility.
