Kizumonogatari has been green lit

I knew this series would be coming soon or later after the huge success that Bakemonogatari had but I still couldn't help saying "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG" over and over again. For those who don't know what Kizumonogatari will be about, it's the prequel to Bakemonogatari. It chronicles the time when Koyomi was a vampire and how he was cured of it. Some pretty badass fight scenes of Kizumonogatari were shown in the first episode of Bakemonogatari so I guess they were planning to make this no matter what happened.
