(This fanfiction i had wrote some time ago but I'm still not done with it yet. This can also be found on fanfiction.net under my username SeanEddy. The storyline for this is basically what I thought Kingdom Hearts 3 would be like with some anime worlds to go to. Hope you enjoy.)

    -Chapter 1-

It was a sunny afternoon. The sky shone with the brightness of the sun. The horizon was colored with a light pink skin tone that gradually turned into a brilliant blue as the sky rose to the slowly drifting clouds. The leaves and trees of the island remained a deep rich green and the sandy beach remained as soft and wet as it had always been. All was peaceful once again. The worlds have been set into balance, the heartless were vanquished, and the notorious Organization XIII had been defeated. The time of relaxation had finally dawned, or so they thought...

Sora, the spiky brown-headed keyblade wielder, jogged across the strong wooden bridge that connected the island's mainland to a nearby platou set into the openning of the ocean. Upon reaching the platou, he continued to run to 1 of the 6 trees that were on it. The tree was a very odd one and was always noted by the friends as such. Unlike most trees, this one on the platou grew a couple feet from the ground vertically, then horizontally outward; It ended by curving upward and drooped with huge green tropical leaves. However, Sora's sight was not that of the oddly grown tree of which he has so many memories of him, Kairi, and Riku talking upon, but of an old friend sitting on it looking out into the distance alone amongst the gentle breeze and mist of the crashing ocean waves below.

With a gently touch to the horizontal tree's bark, Sora leaped over it and finally rested by leaning his back to it. He threw his hands behind his head and assisted Riku in gazing out to the distant horizon.

"Nothing's changed, huh?" said Riku softly to Sora without a turn of his head.

    "Nope" Sora responded, "Nothing will."

Only half the sun was visible now. It had been a long day for them having just defeated Xemnas and miraculously, thanks to Kairi, openned the door to light and returned home.

"What a small world." Riku said softly.

"But.." Sora responded, "..part of one thats much bigger."

"Yeah" Riku agreed. After all he has seen in his adventure throughout many worlds, Riku couldnt help but agree with his fellow keyblade wielding warrior.

Sora's mind trailed off alittle afterwards. It was hard to believe that, with all their talks about worlds and such, he had the priviledge to actually visit most of them and befriend alot of people within them. The last world he and Riku were in, he remembered, was not amongst the ones he would count as one he would like to return to, however. He could remember the point of which he thought they would be trapped their for an eternity. Thank God for Kairi. If it had not been for her, they would probably still be there. Sora, after getting out of his train of thought, looked up at Riku.

"Hey Riku... What do you think it was- the door to the light?" he asked.

Riku smiled at Sora's question. He placed his hands downward and jumped from the tree's bark and onto his feet. Now standing, he turned to face Sora whom was no longer using the tree to prop himself up but was standing as well. He slowly extended his right arm and index finger and tapped Sora's chest.

    "This." Riku answered simply.

For a moment, Sora was dumbfounded. He could of sworn he was talking about his bulky crown-charm chain around his neck but that couldnt be it. Sora continued to look downward at the area upon his chest that Riku had touched. What could he be referring to? He gently raised his head after placing his hand over his chest.

"This?" he lifted his head now to look at Riku. He's referring to my heart.

Looking at Sora's facial expression somewhat amused, Riku knew Sora had just found out what he was referring to. He chuckled lowly, "Yeah. It's always closer than you think" he said with a smile.

Sora looked on at his bestfriend intently, listening to his every word and taking it in as truth. He smiled, placing his hands back to rest on either side of himself when he then heard another familiar voice.

"Sora! Riku!" A girl's voice emitted to their ears. Both Sora and Riku responded by turning their heads toward the source of the voice. It was none other than Kairi. She was running across the bridge and appeared to be holding something in her hand. Upon reaching her two bestfriends, she lowered her head trying to catch her breath, leading Sora and Riku to think that she ran there out of urgency of some matter that had just came up.

    "Whats up?" Sora asked.

Kairi lifted her head and showed them what she was holding. "Look." It was a clear bottle with a note encased inside of it. Sora looked at it intently but it only took a couple seconds to figure out what this was all about as there was a Mickey Mouse shaped tag on the note inside the bottle.

"From the king?" Sora stated. He took the bottle from Kairi's hands quickly and uncorked it with a firm pull. He patted the note out of the bottle shortly afterwards, unraveled the letter, and began to read it's contents. Riku swayed closer to Sora's right side to take a look at the note from the King as well. Not wanting to be left out into the unknown, Kairi moved in closer to Sora's left side and glanced downward at the note in Sora's hands. She found herself looking at the side of Sora's face, though, as if looking for a quick hint of the note being something bad or something good. Nevertheless, however, she glanced back down to the note in reading.

None of them could have predicted that in the same day of one adventure coming to an end... another, more difficult, one would begin...

    KINGDOM HEARTS 3

    Dear Friends,

I have recently happened upon a new discovery and am going to check it out. If my hunches are correct, then this could mean big changes happening in the near future. If those changes will be good, I cannot say at this point. All I can say to you for now is to enjoy being kids in this time of peace for the time being. I am very thankful to both you, Sora, as well as you, Riku, for all that you have done for me and the well being of all worlds. I know you two would have much rather assisted me but I feel that the keyblade ordeal has corrupted your young pure lives enough as it is. Therefore, I've gone to investigate this matter myself. All these happenings could be link to the discovery dealing with the Room of Sleep and the Room of Awakening that Ansem the Wise talked about a long time ago. In any case, I'll be dealing with these new revolutions and will let you know what is what when I figure things out.

    Until we meet again,

    Mickey

P.S: Also, I must warn you: Limit your use of the Keyblade while in your world. Remember, the Keyblade can attract the heartless and may lead to another invasion of your world. Ultimately, it can lead to the barriers that seperate all worlds to weaken and deteriorate.

    --

"The Room of Sleep? The Room of Awakening? Whats that about?" Kairi asked outloud to the other two all of whom had not said a word.

"I don't know." Riku said back to the others as he crossed his arms infront of his chest.

"Yeah. Ive never heard of those rooms before now, either." said Sora rolling the note back up. "Do you suppose it's got something to do with Organization XIII?" he turned his face to look at Riku for an answer.

"Probably." Riku answered. "They could have had alot of secrets in that base back at that other world. I mean, it's not like we took the time to check it out while we were there."

"You're right." Sora replied to Riku's statement."We were more focused on finding each other and taking down Xemnas at the time."

"Maybe we should all go back to that world and check it out." offered Kairi as she shifted her head to face Sora and then to Riku.

"Yeah, maybe we'll be able to find something out that'll help the king. Good thinking Kairi." Sora praised with a smile.

"Theres only one problem though..." Riku intervened. He walked alittle infront of the two and unfolded his arms while his silver hair blew in the wind.

"Whats that?" Sora asked as he turned to him. Kairi looked on with a puzzled expression towards Riku.

"No way to get there." he finished.

Sora and Kairi both quickly realized that Riku was, indeed, right. There was no way for them to get back to The World that Never Was, let alone anywhere else.

"Ah man!" Sora exclaimed, "Stranded again!.." He turned his attention back to the island and the ocean shore as if just now realizing he was back home.

"If I still had the powers of the dark realm, then I could just open a path but... I guess there's no use in bringing that back up." Riku sighed with weariness. "Maybe we ought to just listen to the king and stay put for awhile. Not like we have a choice in the matter, anyways." he said with a chuckle.

"Yeah." replied a tired Sora as Kairi just nodded in acceptance.

"By the way, Kairi, how did you find the note in the first place?" asked Sora, now back to leaning on the misshapened tree.

Kairi turned her head to face Sora, "King Mickey gave it to me before leaving with Donald and Goofy on the Gummy ship. He said to wait till they left this world before reading it with you guys."

Riku chuckled slightly, "Clever." Having spent so much time with King Mickey, Riku had a somewhat of a sense on what the king's next moves would be. Their bond had grown throughout their times together and Riku knew that the king would ultimately end up leaving them with a note like this from the start.

"I wonder when we'll see everyone again.." Sora said, whom had just finished with a deep yawn.

"Well.." Kairi began, "You'll get to see Tidus and the others at school tommorow."

"Wha!? SCHOOL?!" Exclaimed Sora with a shocked expression. With all his adventures and such, he had forgot about his daily routines back on Destiny Island beforehand.

Kairi chuckled at his reaction. "Yeah. We have school tommorow. Don't tell me you forgot about school" she placed her hands on her hips and shot him a sly look.

"Ah man..." Sora slumped down in a silly manner. "I'd much rather go on another adventure."

"We'll guys... the day's almost gone." Riku started as he faced the two once more; his face was barely visible due to his hair having grown out so long, "What do you wanna do?"

"How bout we have a contest. Like how we use to back in the old days." Kairi proposed. She walked alittle from the two boys and reached into her pocket, leaving Riku and Sora to look on with a weirded look as to what she was up to.

"A contest? What kind of contest?" asked Sora.

Kairi answered first with a giggle, "A race. Aa-nnd.. the winner gets this.." she extended her hand from her pocket to finally reveal what she was offering as a prize. In appearance, the object was a small, rectangular shaped piece of paper swaying in the breeze against her firm grip on it.

    "A ticket?" said Riku confused.

"Not just any ticket... A school-day skip ticket. Good for allowing a student to skip a day of school without excuse." As Kairi finished her explaination, both Riku and Sora's eyes widened in suprise.

    "Are you serious?" exclaimed Sora.

"How did you get that?" asked Riku in his normal tone.

Kairi, once again, answered in a giggle, "Well.." she said in a taunting drawn out manner, "that's what you get when you are top of the class with straight A's" she finished. Sora, seeing his opportunity for atleast another school-free day, jumped up at the chance to get his hands on the ticket. However, Riku, not wanting to go back to school himself, wasnt going to just sit back and let Sora claim the ticket for his own.

"You're on!" both Sora and Riku responded.

"Okay. The finish line is to the wooden shack over on the other side of the island like last time... past the beach and clubhouse. Remember?" Kairi asked.

"Yeah, I remember." said Riku as he got into position.

"Me too." said Sora. The last times Kairi set up a race between Sora and Riku was when they had to decide upon a name for their raft and when they would see who would share the paopu fruit with her. As far as both Sora and Riku were concerned, it was good to be home.

"Alright then. Ready?... On your mark...get set..." Kairi looked on at the two boys with a smile. This moment was an exact replica of how they use to compete in the past before all the adventures to other worlds. She savored the moment to the last second before calling, "Go!" she dropped her hands down to signal both to start and with that, Sora and Riku took off into the distance.

Elsewhere, in the World that Never Was, a shadowy figure walked the halls of the, now, empty ex-base of Organization 13.

"The fools... all of them killed off.. even Master Xemnas fell prey to that keyblade's chosen one," the enigmatic hooded figure said. As the hooded figure continued to walk the halls, black creatures with yellow eyes began to sprout from the ground from all around. "Heartless, eh? Such inferior creatures" she said with no emotion. She lefted her right arm straight into the air in a carelessly slow manner as if not worried by the heartless now swarming around her in attack. "Begone..." she said simply and with that alone, suprisingly, thick bolts from a powerful thunder spell came crashing down forcibly onto each heartless, killing them on contact. "Hmph... Now then, where is that keyblade..."

Hours later, back on Destiny Island, the night had come into full blossom. Sora, Riku, and Kairi all layed upon the grass under the starry sky.

"Well, looks like I dont have to get up in the morning" taunted Riku as he waved the ticket infront of Sora's face.

"Ah, you got lucky, Riku." said Sora with a comical annoyed face with both his hands used as pillows behind his head.

Kairi smiled at the two's bickering, "You know guys... its been so long since we've just sat and hung out like this.. kinda makes me happy that we're back home and everything's okay.." she said softly as she took a deep breath. The gently cold breeze of the night was relaxing and almost alluring enough to cause drowsiness due to comfort.

"I feel the same way, Kairi" Sora said with a smile.

    "Yeah.." Riku added.

"You guys remember the night that started everything?" Sora asked after a few minutes of silent star gazing.

"How could we forget?" said Kairi softly. "Thats the night that changed our lifes..."

"She's right. Even though, I had a bad start." said Riku, reminscing on how he instantly went to the evil side with Maleficent and how he was possessed by Xehanort's heartless.

"Ah, dont worry 'bout it. We all make mistakes." said Sora doing his best not to let Riku recall the bad times. "The important thing is that we promise not to let it happen to us in the future."

"Yeah" said Kairi with a nod.

"Well, you guys ought to be heading off now. Its getting late and you two have school tommorow.." said Riku with a hint of a smile on his face knowing that he, himself, didnt have to attend thanks to Kairi's ticket. Much to Sora's dismay, he agreed, and left off to the path leading to his home as Kairi left to her home, leaving Riku to lay in the tall grass to star gaze alone.

"Peaceful times. I sure did miss it." he said softly before drifting off.

Back at the World that Never Was, Maleficient and Pete, having earned their right to own the ex-base of operations for the organization, stood in the main chamber room discussing their plans. "Well Maleficient. Now that we have the base, what's next?" asked the overweight servant.

"Have you forgetten?" started Maleficient, "Now that we have control over this base, its time to-" But before she could finish, she suddenly sensed a powerful presense drawing nearer. "What the?..." she turned to Pete, "Do you sense that?"

    "Yeah. But who?.."

As if on cue to answer Pete's question, the hooded enigma walked into the chamber, causing both Pete and Maleficient to freeze with shock. "Wh..who are you?" asked Pete as he shook in fear, sensing her strength and power.

The hooded enigma stood without worry, "You truely don't know?" she stepped more into the chamber. "You can sense how powerful I am without witnessing my power first hand but you cannot sense my identity without seeing my face?" she said in a cold uncaring monotoned manner. "Or am I giving you too much credit by assuming just that?" she finished with a question that was more intended as a taunting statement.

"Who do you think you're talking to?" stated Maleficient in a higher authoritive tone. "I am Maleficient! Soon to be the ruler of all worlds!"

"Yes! and I'm her loyal right-hand man, Pete." said Pete managing to stop his quavering for a moment to introduce himself and his greatness.

"Heh, You two are truely the pinnicle of pathetic." said the hooded figure. "I'll ask once... Where is the Room of Sleep?"

Pete, coming to a realization, spoke up to the hooded lady, "The Room of Sleep?... wait... if you want to know where that room is... then... you must...you m-must be.."

"Organization 13's 14th member.." finished Maleficient. "I must say, this is quite unexpected. I thought that those runts took care of all the nobodies of the organization. However, I do suppose you were a different case..."

"So it would seem." said the hooded woman, "Now, I take it you dont know where the Room of Sleep is located."

"N-n-no we dont.." said Pete trying to be brave but couldnt help the sound of shaking in his legs.

"A pity. Then I have no use for you." said the enigmatic hooded figure as she extended her arm out to Maleficient and Pete, forshadowing an attack towards them. As seen from the outside, the impact caused a third of the roof to be blown off and the rest of the compound to be engulfed with blue and black flames due to the single attack. After a moment of no activity, the hooded figure emerged from the wreckage unharmed and on her way to an unknown destination.

The next day, after Sora's first day back to school, he and Kairi were having a conversation as they walked back to the shore that would take them back to the area of Destiny Island that they lived on. Kairi was wearing her light blue skirt, light blue tie, and white shirt school uniform as normal. Sora was wearing his dark navy blue pants, dark blue tie, and white shirt as was required for all boys to wear at that school.

"So, how did you like your first day back?" Kairi asked with a smile, knowing that Sora was pounded and hounded by every professor on why he's been gone for so long.

"Other than the fact that I have to make up for almost 3 years of schoolwork... not to mention I spent the whole day of being lectured by teachers on how I shouldnt 'dropout' and just decide to return so easily and quickly without a proper excuse for my absense... I'd have'ta say I didnt like it at all." said Sora as he walked side by side with Kairi. "Although.." his normal face quickly changed to a smirk of slyness, "If I have this much work to do.. then I know Riku will have this much to do as well.." Sora said.

"Well, in any case, I'll help ya with your work.." Kairi added.

"Really? Ah thats great! Thank you Kairi. I'm definitely gonna' need all the help I can get. I mean, I didnt know what the teacher was teaching about today. Its like it was another language or something. I guess it's just been so long that I just sorta' forgot some things...Anywho, I know Riku's gonna wanna challenge me to another race to see if I'll do his homework for him in advance before getting his work but I'll beat him for sure this time" Sora said with a chuckle of laughter as he joked for laughs. "I still say he tripped me up and then blamed it on that small rock that I stepped on.." he finished his joking.

Kairi smiled at the childish yet humorous rivalry Sora seemed to uphold with Riku. "Just like the good ol' days.." she thought to herself. She continued to look over at Sora without him noticing her stare. "Sora... You're just as I remember you... Carefree.. fun to be around... kind...gentle... You'd think that with all your battles that all those traits would have faded... thankfully, though, they didnt. I guess this is what Namine was talking about when she told me of Roxas being born because of your strong heart." Her thoughts soon took her to the time in the secret place where she found the drawing of Sora feeding her the paopu fruit. Soon after, a blush came to her face as she then responded to that memory with the memory of her finishing the drawing with her feeding him the paopu fruit in return. She gently brushed her dark red hair to the side, behind her ear, and continued on to the path home with Sora by her side.

Once back on the main island's beach, Sora and Kairi walked up to Riku who was eating a pineapple and sitting atop a tall palm tree. "Hey! Riku! We're back!" called Sora. Looking down after hearing Sora's voice, Riku smiled and jumped down to greet them.

"Hey. How was school?" Riku asked as he took another bite from his pineapple.

    "Good" replied Kairi.

"Boring, dreadful, tiring.." Sora kept on.

"That bad, huh?" teased Riku with a friend pat to Sora's shoulder. "Well, atleast you had a good day Kairi. Thats good to hear."

"What did you do all morning, Riku?" asked Kairi with a smile.

"Nothing really. Just been thinking about some things." answered Riku. Suddenly, the voice of a familiar voice came into focus as three kids ran up to Sora, Riku and Kairi.

"Hey! Hows it going guys?" asked Sora as he faced Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie. "I didnt see you guys at all in any of my classes."

Tidus spoke up, "Well thats because we're in a higher class than you since your teachers are holding you back a grade for being gone so long."

Selphie spoke up right after, "Which reminds me. Your mom wanted me to ask if you were going to be home for dinner or are you gonna disappear without another word for another 2 or 3 years." Hearing the friendly joke, everyone began to laugh.

"What was that about, anyway? Why were you gone? Where did you go?" asked Wakka.

    "Well, its...complicated." said Sora.

"Well, did you guys bring anything back?" asked Tidus.

"No, not really..." began Sora but was caught off guard when he saw Riku summon up his Keyblade in a quick gleam of light. Seeing this for the first time ever, Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie all were frozed with shock and amazement.

"Whoa! Whats that!?" the three kids asked. "Was that some sort of magic trick? Where did it come from? How did it just appear like that? What is it? It looks like a key. Is that the key to the city or something? Whats it used for? Whose it from?" Their questions seemed to blend into one at the rate they came pouring out.

"This..." Riku began to explain, "Is what's known as a Keyblade. Its not a toy, its used as a weapon"

"A Keyblade? Cool!" The three exclaimed.

"Riku! What are you doing? We're not suppose to.." Sora began.

"He didnt say we couldnt. He just said we had to limit it. Plus, I figured we'd show them since we owe them some sort of explaination..." said Riku with a shrug.

Before Sora knew it, Tidus and the others began to hound him as well, "So, that means you have one too?" they asked.

"Uhh...well...yeah." answered Sora, knowing that Riku was indeed right in the fact that they should show their friends, whom was seemingly worried about them all this time, excluding the times they all lost their memories of them, atleast something to ease their raging curiousity.

"Is yours different? Let us see, let us see, let us see!" begged the three friends.

Sora sighed, "Alright. Alright. But just this once, okay?" said Sora, not wanting to disobey the king's wishes, however, as Riku pointed out, technically it wouldnt be disobeying, so he decided to go ahead with it. And with that, he extended his right arm, opened his hand, and SHING! the kingdom key appeared in a gleam of white light into his grasp.

"Whoa! Way too cool!" the three exclaimed.

"Hey Sora, I have an idea. Lets have another contest." offered Riku.

"Another contest?... you mean, a race?" said Sora.

"No, a sparring match. Loser does the other's homework for this whole week. Whatdoya say?" said Riku.

"Alright. You're on!" said Sora as he got into his normal battle position. He watched as Riku got into his own unique battle position.

    Chapter 2

"Oh my God! They're gonna fight using those key-things! Sweet!" exclaimed Tidus.

"They're called Keyblades. Dontcha listen to anything, Tidus?" scolded Selphie.

"Oh, right. Keyblades. I knew that!" claimed Tidus with a fold of his arms.

"I can't wait. I bet they both got some awesome skills, too!" called Wakka. "I'm betting Riku will win! His Keyblade looks more powerful."

"I think you're right, Wakka" called Tidus. "Riku's Keysword is awesome!"

With a sigh, Selphie responded, "Its called a Keyblade, not Keysword- and looks can be deceiving, ya know." she turned her attention to Sora whom was still in a stare-down faceoff with Riku. Kairi looked on smiling as the wind gently blew through her darkish red hair. She took her right hand and placed some of it behind her ear, away from her eyesight.

"Ready?" said Riku with a smirk.

"Ready." replied Sora with a head nod.

The talking between the three friends had stopped as they waited for the match to begin. Kairi stood aside and away from the soon-to-be battle area with Wakka, Selphie, and Tidus. "This is going to be good." said Wakka lowly. The air was filled with silence soon after once again. Even though the ocean waves crashed up to the shores of which they were on, it didnt cause any distractions towards the two. Both looked on at the other intently, as if trying to read the first move. Riku, being older and somewhat wiser than Sora, knew Sora had become stronger due to his adventures in the past couple years. He knew that Sora had a bunch of techniques in his arsenal and also had the close combat experience needed to atleast match his own. On the flipside, Sora pretty much knew that Riku was a deemed specialist in close range combat. He may not know alot of special techniques, but he can easily make up for that with his brains and strategic thinking. After all, Sora knew Riku's battle tactics and has faced them more than once already on more than one occasion. However, the same could be said about Riku. This, is what Riku and Sora were contemplating in their minds. Should I make the first move? Should I wait? He knows my skills. Am I at a disadvantage? These question, even though they wouldnt admit it, were playing in their minds. Both thinking the exact same thing.

"Here I come!" shouted Riku, breaking the silence as he charged at Sora. Sora swung back his keyblade fiercely as he waited for Riku to start the battle once in close range. Once in range, to Sora's suprise, Riku leaped into the air over Sora's head. However, as he flipped overhead, he swung down his keyblade in a sneak attack, thinking Sora wouldnt expect it. But, as it would seem, Sora was ready for it. In retaliation, he had lifted up his Kingdom Keyblade over his head.

    CLING!

The two keyblades struck on contact. Riku, then, landed upon his feet behind Sora, both now back to back. Both smirked at this and quickly turned 180 degrees quickly, making both their keyblades parry once again. Riku lifted up his keyblade from Sora's and struck down hard for a follow-up attack but Sora guarded quickly, using his keyblade to slap Riku's off to the side. Seeing his opening, Sora brought his keyblade upward in a strong swoop, ready to strike Riku midsection. However, Riku was no pushover. He quickly ducked the assault, causing Sora's strong missed swing to give him an opening to his side area. Riku, taking advantage of this, swung his Keyblade to the opening. Sora quickly guarded against this, however, seeing as his reaction time to this assualt was slow, his guard was weak. Even though Sora managed avoiding getting struck, the impact from Riku's keyblade sent Sora flying some distance into the air. Not letting up on his offensive, Riku quickly jumped into the air after Sora and managed to get above him. Sora, openining his eyes, saw that Riku was about to try and hit him in a airborne follow-up attack. Riku pointed his keyblade downward at Sora and transfigured it into dark energy for his Dark Aura technique. Sora looked up at Riku to see his smirk. Was he going to use it?

"Is that all you got?" Riku taunted with a friendly smirk. Sora quickly placed up his keyblade infront of his chest, preparing to use a spell.

"Ha!" shouted Riku in a battlecry, thus shooting 5 black fire attacks known as his 'Dark Aura' attack towards the still airborne Sora.

"Defend!" shouted Sora as he casted the Reflect spell just in enough time as the Dark Aura blasts struck it. However, the sheer strength of the 5 Dark Aura's impacted the reflect spell hard, sending Sora, still encased in the barrier, to come crashing down onto the sandy beach, causing a dust smokescreen to arise from the impact.

Shortly after, Riku landed on his feet, away from the smokescreen. He looked on as Sora was nowhere in sight but managed to smirk, knowing that Sora would take this as an opportunity to perform a sneak attack.

"Sora!" shouted Selphie in concern for him.

    "Oh no! Sora!" exclaimed Tidus.

"This isnt good. I dont see 'em" said Wakka worriedly.

"Relax, guys" said Kairi in a calm manner, making the three turn to her. "Sora's fine. Just wait. You'll see."

    "B-but how?" asked Tidus.

"Sora's been through alot in the past years we've been gone." she explained. "And he's come across alot of bad guys. Strong bad guys... and defeated each one."

The three kid's eyes widened in amazement at the revolution, "Seriously?" "Wow!.." "Wicked!"

Kairi smiled at the three kids' amazement towards Sora's strength, "Yeah. It'll take alot more than that to beat him..." she continued. "Riku knows that too. Which is why he's not worried. Plus, they're both holding back."

"What! Holding back?! After all that!? Seriously?" exclaimed Tidus.

Kairi nodded, "Yep. They don't want to hurt each other but at the same time, neither of them wants to lose, either."

Riku kept up his stare into the slowly settling sandy smokescreen, awaiting for Sora's next move. "Come on, Sora. I know you're up to something.." said Riku with a smile as he placed his left hand to his hip.

The silence kept on for a moment longer when suddenly, the Kingdom Key came hurling out of the smokescreen towards Riku. "Hm?.. I see. This is his Strike Raid technique.." analyzed Riku as he placed his Keyblade to the side. As the hurling keyblade flew closer, Riku placed up his left hand towards it, creating a large barrier infront of him. The hurling keyblade struck against Riku's Dark Shield. Sora, now coming from the smokescreen dashing, called back the Keyblade to his hand. Once back in his hand, he hurled it once again, causing Riku to slide back from the power of the impact between the barrier and keyblade. Sora, once again as a follow-up to Strike Raid, called back the Keyblade and hurled it once again. The impact, this time, caused a miniscule crack in it which caught Riku's attention quickly.

"This is it!" called Sora as he called back the Kingdom Key once again and wound up for a harder throw. As he threw it for the last time, Riku braced himself for the impact. The keyblade collided with the surface of the shield very hard, managing to break through it, and continue onward to Riku.

Riku quickly threw up his keyblade to guard and placed it towards the hurling Kingdom Key. In the impact, Riku swung hard, managing to send the Keyblade flying. Seeing this, Sora jumped up in a flip, grabbed the Kingdom Keyblade, and descended with it in hand. As he did so, he lifted it upward, preparing to strike Riku when he came close enough. However, Sora's assault ended in a miss as Riku dodge-rolled out the way of it. After he recovered from the roll, he dove to the side, all the while, firing off 20 Dark Aura blasts towards Sora.

Sora prepared for the Dark Aura blasts by lifting up his keyblade parallel to his head and assumed himself into a rare stance only used when he faced off against Sephiroth.

    Sora's flashback:

Sephiroth and Sora where at a face off at Hollow Bastian. He had been asking Sora if he gave Cloud his message, in which Sora replied with a 'maybe.' Sephiroth approached slowly, his long sword drawing nearer. He stops abruptly and assumes a stance that indicated his coming assault. The sky darkened slightly..

"Thats enough" Sephiroth said in his cold foreshadowing voice as he dashed in a blinding speed, making it look as if he had disappeared.

Sora placed the keyblade parallel his head in a stance ready for a quick attack.

"Dingdingdingdingdingdingdingdingding!" the sound of metal clanking up against each other sounded loudly as Sora swung fiercely his keyblade against Sephiroth's invisible assaults.

As Sora finished, the sky seemed to lighten back up. Sephiroth looked behind himself in a slight suprise to see that Sora had parried each individual slash at blinding speed. (If you remember, this is the reaction command used when fighting sephiroth at Hollow Bastian)

    End of Sora's Flashback

Taking that same concept, Sora began to block each individual Dark Aura blast at high speed. As he finished, he assumed his finishing stance with his keyblade in the air behind him and his head lowered.

Riku flipped to his feet soon after and ran towards Sora for another close combat session. Sora, lifting up his head, swung the keyblade upward at Riku to strike him. Riku matched his blow with a parry from his keyblade. As they struggled face to face, Riku and Sora smiled to each other.

    "Not bad." Riku complimented.

"Not bad, yourself, Riku" responded Sora.

Riku's smile turned into a smirk as he pressed harder into the struggle, his smirk foreshadowing a coming assault. Sora's eyes widened as it was too late to guard against Riku's upcoming attack.

"Ha!" Exclaimed Riku as he turned his Keyblade into a bigger version of the Dark Aura attacks and blasted it point blank at Sora.

"Gah!" Sora flew into the small nearby waterfall, his back hitting hard up against the rocky wall. He lowered his head, causing his face to go unseen through his thick wet brown hair.

Riku stood looking at the splash at which Sora's impact caused. Looking closely, Sora could be seen sitting up to the wall of the waterfall with his head down as the water falling from the top splashed ontop of him. This gave the impression to Selphie, Tidus and Wakka, that Sora was unconscious. Kairi looked on at the soaked schoolboy Sora with slight worry however Riku knew Sora wasnt done just yet. All he needed, according to Riku, was some friendly taunting.

"Giving up already? Come on, Sora. I thought you were stronger than that.." said Riku with a smile. He knew that that taunt that Sora had told him about years ago that he heard in his head, would work for sure to give him his second wind. Sora slowly lifted up his head against the falling water.

"Yeah right! I'm just getting warmed up Riku" said Sora in a burst of sudden energy, his head now fully lifted to show that he had a smirk on his face. Still sitting in the shallow waters, Sora lifted up his keyblade to point at Riku. Suddenly, the tip of Sora's keyblade began to glow, revealing Sora's intent on using his blast ability of the Ragnarok limit.

"Ragnarok blast, fire!" shouted Sora. On command, Sora's Keyblade shot out a multiple of energy streams twirling in a fancy manner towards Riku. Riku, placing up his Keyblade, readied himself to guard. The individual Ragnarok energy streams twirled and intertwined into one screw beam hurling and twisted towards Riku. Riku placed his Keyblade against the twisted beam and held on as it pushed him into the air, still pressing against him.

Kairi, Wakka, Tidus and Selphie all continued to watch the battle insue. It was very entertaining to see the two friends duke it out with such passion. As Kairi looked on, she smiled. She knew they were having the time of their lives right now. Sure, the loser would be stuck doing the other's makeup homework, but, to have this much fun while sparring was worth it. She glanced down to the three kids spectating the fight along with her. She smiled on at them who all were in awe at what seemed to be the smallest thing to her. However, she was happy they were enjoying themselves and also happy that now they didnt have to continue lying to their friends about certain things seeing them witnessing a portion of it first-hand. She turned her attention back to the fight when suddenly, 5 black shadows appeared around them. From the black shadows, small black creatures with yellow eyes began to emerge and surround them.

"What the-?.. What are these things!?" asked Wakka as he turned his attention from the two fighting to the heartless emerging to the scene.

"Oh no. Heartless!" yelled Kairi as she watched them draw closer. Wakka, Tidus and Selphie all got behind Kairi, not knowing what they were after. "Sora! Riku!" she called to them. She, slowly, began to nudge everyone back and away from the creatures but they persisted, however.

After hearing Kairi's call, Sora and Riku both turned their attention to her and, to their horror, saw a group of heartless around them.

"Oh no!" Shouted Sora as he dashed out of the water and towards them. Riku, who had managed to evade the rest of Sora's Ragnarok blast, dashed towards the rest as well.

"It's got me!" shouted Tidus as he squirmed against a Heartless's grasp on his arm.

    SLASH!

Sora quickly cut through the heartless holding him. He quickly, then, moved on to the others, cutting each down as quick as he could. Riku stabbed two infront of Wakka and finished off the group with a wide swung of his keyblade.

After everything returned to calm, Tidus looked to Sora, Kairi and Riku. "What were those things!?"

"I knew it was a bad idea." called Sora as he unsummoned his keyblade, desregarding Tidus's question accidently. "but how do you think they showed up? We only used our Keyblades once. The king said that we didnt have to stop using them."

"Maybe because of our fight." Riku responded. "We used alot of attacks that rely on our Keyblade's power." he finished as he unsummoned his keyblade.

"Hmm... what now?" said Sora with his hand to his chin in thought. "Do you think they"ll be more?"

"I don't know.. if those couple managed to come here... others might come too." responded Riku. "In any case, we'll refrain from using the Keyblades unless we really need them. Okay? We can't afford for the barrier between all worlds to break again. Especially, with the new threat the king talked about." said Riku.

    "Okay." said Sora agreeing.

"What are those things after, anyway?" asked Wakka.

"Eh, Don't worry too much about it. We shouldnt see them again." said Sora. He knew what the Heartless were after, but, he felt there was no need to let them three know it. "You have nothing to worry about. I promise." said Sora with a pound to his chest with his fist.

"Im scared.." said Selphie shaking alittle. "Those things...were creepy.."

Tidus, whom was shaking as well but didnt want to admit that he was scared, just nodded to what Selphie said, "They sure was. But, Sora and Riku took care of those jerks no problem! I was just about to show them who's boss but it was okay that they got to them first..." Suddenly, Wakka secretly placed his hand to the back of Tidus's shoulder to scare him. "Ahh!" Tidus jumped.

Wakka laughed, "Thought you werent scared?" he chuckled.

"Hmph.." Tidus turned up his chin to him.

"Come on. I'll walk you guys home." offered Kairi. She could clearly see that they didnt take too lightly to the scary demon creatures, however, Wakka offered to stay and play on the beach.

"Okay." Selphie and Tidus said to her and walked with her off to their homes, leaving Sora and Riku to sit on the beach while Wakka went to the shack to hang out with some of the other boys and girls of the beach on the far side.

    "So..What now?" asked Sora.

"Nothing. I dont believe the barriers have been broken yet so theres nothing to worry about, like you said. Although, we're going to have to be more careful from now on... just incase more show up."

"Right." Sora nodded. After a small silence, a smirk arose on his face as he spoke back up, "You know I was going to win that, right?" said Sora with a chuckle.

"Oh Please! Yeah right! I was going to win. You were done for" said Riku with a laugh.

"In your dreams, Riku" said Sora in laughter

The two of them continued to laugh on afterwards, ending their competition.

Elsewhere, at Radiant Garden, in the headquarters of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, Cid was tinkering through the mainframe computer that governs activity going on throughout the land. Leon, now returning from checking up on Tron, walked up to him. "I'm back. So, how's everything? Everything seems good from Tron's section." Leon asked.

"Yea." Cid said. "Fer now. Everything's quiet but.." Cid continued typing away on the computer, "somethin's tellin' me that somethin's off.. But its just a hunch. Everythin's reading good on the computer."

"Hm.. thats good." Leon responded with a sigh. "Have you seen Merlin and the others?"

"Nah." Cid responded, "They're out on patrol just incase the computer system didnt pick up any small disturbances."

"I see. Okay. I'll go join them, then. Radio Yuffie and tell her I'm on my way to help her."

Suddenly, the big mainframe computer began to flash a sign of trouble in the area.

Leon, hearing this, turned around and ran back to Cid's side. "What's going on?" he asked.

"I dont know. The computer's pickin' up somthin' bad. Somethin' really bad. Somethin' the defense system units can't destroy."

"What's the location of the disturbance?" asked Leon, whom was in awe at the power reading of the disturbance.

Cid continued to type on the keyboard to retrieve the information Leon requested. After some sequence typing, he pressed enter to gain the whereabouts. "The eastern section." said Cid.

"Who's stationed at that location?" Leon asked.

    Cid turned to Leon, "Cloud."

"I'm going to back him up." said Leon as he began to dash out the room, "Radio everyone else and tell them to come to that location and hurry!"

"Ya got it" said Cid as he began to radio all the other Committee members.

Subsequently, Cloud, who was riding his motorcycle named Fenrir, was potraling the area of Radiant Garden that seemed to be all rocky cliffs and dry lands. Upon riding to a cliff, Cloud stopped Fenrir and took off his sun goggles. "Everything seems fine in this region.." said Cloud as he lifted up off Fenrir and walked to the edge of the cliff.

Suddenly, footsteps could be heard coming from behind Cloud softly. Sensing this, Cloud turned around slowly to see who it was. "Who are you?"

"I am but a servant... Who might you be, friend?" The servant asked, saying 'friend' in a way to mean that he doesnt know Cloud rather than his actual friend.

"Well..friend, I'm Cloud" said Cloud. "What do you want?" he asked in his regular neutral tone.

"Where is the entrance to the Room of Awakening?..."

"The Room of Awakening?.." Cloud repeated.

    "Yes..." said the servant.

Cloud observed the servant. He was wearing a full body black muscle suit, much similar to what Riku was wearing when possessed with Xehanort's heartless. He also had on a helmet of which to hide his identity, no doubt. Nevertheless, Cloud went on to ask more about him.

"I dont know where this... Room of Awakening... is. Sorry, friend." said Cloud in a semi-taunting way. He could sense the evil nature of said servant and secret readied himself just in case anything were to happen.

"A pity. My master will not like this." said the Servant in a dark manner. He looked closely at Cloud's clothing and came upon his RGRC badge upon his shirt. "A member of the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee, eh?" he said in a foreshadowing way.

"And if I am?" said Cloud, still in a taunting manner.

Suddenly, the servant summoned a black demonic-looking Keyblade to his right hand.

    "A keyblade wielder.." muttered Cloud.

"My master has instructed me to dispose of any and all whom stand in the way of his plans...The Restoration Committee governs all activties that go on here at Radiant Garden, former lands of Hollow Bastion. All of which means you and your comrades will eventually get in our way."

"Who is this master of yours?" said Cloud as he readied his big buster sword.

"Master Xehanort" replied the servant as he pointed his keyblade at Cloud. "Now, Prepare for your death.."

Holy shizzle, Cloud's about to fight. And if the epicness of the Sora vs Riku fight is anything to go by, it will be AWESOME. I just hope with all my heart that Cloud uses the different First Tsurugai blades.

Kingdom Hearts: Lost Memories (World of Anime)

(I just realized that the name I have for this fanfiction was suppose to be "Lost Memories" but instead I had named it "World of Anime". But anyways, here it is.. chapter 3. Thanks to Friendly_Heartless, Paladin, and Yosha for the comments.)

    Chapter 3

"Hmph..." Cloud snickered. "You're very straight to the point, aren't you" he joked alittle while still maintaining his usual serious face. "And..you possess the keyblade. Just who are you? Who is this 'Master Xehanort' you speak of?" Cloud continued to speak his questions. The servant, however, only stood silent with his demonic keyblade pointed at him without word.

"The time for talking has long past..." The unknown apprentice said as he motioned his keyblade upward. With a brisk swing downward of his legendary weapon, the apprentice called out the spell for the first attack. "Blizzard!"

Cloud readied himself as he saw this attack come into motion. He quickly placed up his sword and blocked the blizzard spell from contacting him. He glanced at his sword after the full brunt of the spell disappated to see that frost had covered the mid section of it's metal surface. "He's strong" Cloud muttered to himself. He quickly motioned his eyes back to the servant whom was now on the move. He watched as he swayed left to right in a unpredictable pattern as he drew closer to Cloud... Nevertheless, Cloud prepared himself for close combat.

The apprentice, once in range, swung up his keyblade to strike Cloud however he was ready. Cloud motioned his sword's frozen midsection to block and was successful with a parry that broke off the frost from the spell.

"Clever.." The apprentice said lowly to his opponent.

"Hmph... You haven't seen anything yet" Cloud said in response. Now following up with a sneak attack, Cloud detached one of his other swords from his buster sword. Taking it into his grasp and being sure to do this quickly, he stabbed the smaller sword towards the apprentice's shoulder in which he barely managed to side step the sword. However, due to his dodge, his hold on the keyblade parrying the main sword became weak. Noticing this quickly in instinct, Cloud pressed his metal harder downward on the keyblade causing the apprentice to drop it. Being sure not to lose this tactic, Cloud then spun backwards and completed a 180 degree turn which added strength to a crescent sword slash that targeted the apprentice's right side. As the sword drew nearer, the apprentice slid back as quick as he could to avoid once again but this time would not prove to be so fruitful. The sharp metal edge found it's way coursing through the enemy's right arm. Cloud completed the crescent attack with a stance shortly afterwards as the apprentice continued to step back.

"You're quick, too. You managed to back up just enough to make that attack only graze your arm." Cloud analyzed as he saw the cut was only shallow.

"It would seem you are skilled yourself. It's a pity you oppose Master Xehanort. You would be a nice asset to our goals." The apprentice added.

Cloud kept silent after the statement but made sure to keep his stance. He glanced downward at the demonic looking keyblade then back up to his opponent. "That's a nice keyblade you have there. Where'd you get it?"

"You needn't know. Now, let's continue" The servant, then, ran towards Cloud in a burst of blinding speed... all the while, holding out his right hand to the side. Cloud watched as the keyblade reappeared in a bright sudden burst of light back into his grasp. "Thunder!" The apprentice hailed. On cue of it's declaration, the spell's effect came into play as 5 bolts of lightning shot downward towards Cloud. Sensing this, Cloud, still holding his main sword and the thinner sword that he had detatched, slid backwards out of harms way. The servant follwed up on this by throwing his keyblade into the downpour of lightning bolts. As it spun into the array of electricity, it began to absorb and generate an electric current and continued on it's path towards Cloud.

Suprised to see this, Cloud crossed both swords in his grasp to form an "X" defense infront of him that parried the twirling electrifying keyblade assault that acted as a sort of chain saw. "Ha!" Cloud's short battlecry gave him the boost he needed to knocked the blade away from him. The servant, still dashing towards Cloud, caught the keyblade, that seemed to generate electricity around it still, and came into reach of close combat once again. Cloud could only motion his swords to parry once again with the keyblade strike that the apprentice had swung... the clash producting sparks of electricity due to the generation of the thunder attack. He pulled back his other sword that was free from the clash, and swung towards the servant only for him to have it clash with the keyblade again. From then, each blow was match with a blow, sparks jumping from each blow and clash... a clash at a high speed pace that resembled a sword fight in fast forward. Cloud continued onward swinging both swords to both attack, block, clash, and parry with the apprentice's keyblade.

On the top of a mountain, close to where the highspeed battle was continuing, an old man watched on with a smirk. "Hmm.." he hummed seeing his apprentice fighting.

Cloud, after a whole 2 minutes of sparking fast paced sword fighting, broke away from it and slid back. "I'll have to end this with the Omnislash Limit technique" Cloud thought to himself. The apprentice stood his ground and continued to face Cloud.

"Is this your limit?" The apprentice asked.

"I'll let you decide that after this next attack." Cloud said in his normal manner as he combined the thinner sword back into the main sword.

"Hm.. It would seem that our fight will be interrupted."

"What?" Cloud turned his head and looked on as he saw Leon, Merlin, Yuffie, and Cid all running in the distance to get to him.

"Cloud!" shouted Yuffie. "Hold on! We're coming to help you!"

Suddenly, before anyone even noticed any more signs of interruption, an old bald man appeared in the distance in front of Cloud's reinforcements.

"Wha? Who is that?" asked Cloud.

The old man chuckled at the sight of Leon, Yuffie, Cid, and Merlin stopping dead in their tracks at the sight of him. His posture seemed that of an average old man. He stood slightly slopped forward with both hands folded behind his back. His attire was dark with some white outlines, similar to that of Xehanort's heartless.

    "Who are you?" asked Leon.

"That's Master Xehanort" The apprentice said to Cloud away from them. "It would seem he wants us to finish our fight.."

Master Xehanort kept up his grinning smug look to the reinforcement group. "It would be a shame for us to intervene into such a glorious fight. Why don't we just sit back and enjoy the show, hm?" he said in a sort of sly, yet foreshadowing way.

"As if!" Yuffie responded. She took out a couple of shuriken and threw them skillfully towards the old man only for him to catch them with ease. "What?! No way!" she exclaimed. She couldnt believe he had just easily resolved her attack.

"I knew you would'nt come to terms.. So I suppose I'll just force you to watch the fight, then." Master Xehanort said in his same tone.

"Oh, and how do ya plan to do that?!" Cid shouted back in retaliation.

"Like this.." WIth a quick snap of his fingers, a gravity-like spell appeared above their heads. In appearance, it was a black omnious ball of flowing dark energy that gave off gravity-like abilities. As such, the force of this spell caused Leon, Yuffie, Cid, and Merlin to all collapse to the ground roughly.

"I.... can't.... move." said Yuffie as she struggled to get back to her feet but found it far too difficult.

"Merlin! What's going on?" asked Leon.

"It would seem that this is some sort of gravity spell. As long as he can maintain the spell, we won't be able to move."

"Damn it" Cloud shouted as he watched the actions from afar. He turned his attention back to the apprentice and readied his blade. "If he wants us to finish this, then lets finish it!"

"As you wish." The apprentice pointed his keyblade towards Cloud and declared a fire spell. After it's declaration, a couple fireballs spewed from the Keyblade's tip and at Cloud who sliced them with ease away from himself. The fireballs kept up their assault on Cloud but he did not let up. With each deflection, Cloud advanced closer and closer to his opponent. The apprentice, seeing that his fire attacks were being easily dealt away with, pointed his keyblade towards the air.

"What's he up to now?" Cloud asked himself in his head. He stopped his advancing and looked on... waiting to see what was going to happen.

The tip of the keyblade then soon sprouted a small fireball that seem to harvest some sort of lava within it. It continued to gradually grow in size and power until it reached the size of house.

    "That's not good." Cloud muttered.

"This is getting interesting, indeed" Master Xehanort said with an evil glee as he watched on from afar with the pinned down members of the restoration commitee.

    "Cloud! Watch out!" yelled Yuffie.

"Merlin!" Leon shouted in a way to signify a question to if he could use some sort of magic to aid Cloud.

"I'm sorry. As long as I'm like this, I can't do any magic" The wizard responded.

"Don't you worry jus' yet." said Cid. "Look around... there's still one member... not here yet... "

    "Wait... he's right!" Yuffie exlaimed.

"There's still a chance..." Leon said with hope to aid Cloud rekindling. "Where is she?"

The apprentice, now with his giant fire ball attack ready, motioned his keyblade's tip slowly down towards Cloud, "Now, die." The huge fireball began it's course at Cloud whom hadn't thought of a way to safely divert the attack away. The ground seemed to shake and loosen while the fireball traveled through the sky and onward at it's target.

"It's no use.. I'll have to-" but before Cloud could finish what he was planning on doing, he was interrupted yet again with a newcomer to the battlefield.

"Cloud!" Tifa had appeared next to Cloud on the scene. "Stand back, Cloud. I got this one" she exclaimed as she stood in her usual boxing style ready stance.

    "Tifa?" Cloud questioned.

"She made it in time! Thank goodness!" exlaimed Yuffie.

    "Perfect timin'" stated Cid

"You prepare for the follow up, okay?" she instructed to her long known friend.

"Okay." Cloud agreed with a casual nod. He took a few steps backward and prepared for his attack.

The huge fire ball attack continued on and drew near to Tifa. Putting out her hands, Tifa's palms made contact with the fiery attack.

"She caught it?... not bad at all." Master Xehanort observed.

The weight of the ball pressed downward onto Tifa, causing her feet to crack the surface of the ground she stood upon. She grunted as she struggled to push the ball back from everyone and, with a final shove, managed to successfully do just that. The fire ball was now on the course back to it's creator whom seemed shocked at Tifa's raw power to divert the attack. Knowing he didn't possess the power to do the same, the apprentice jumped high out the way of the attack which kept on into the sky and eventually into space.

"What power..." the Apprentice said while still looking upward to where the ball was. Turning his attention back to the matter at hand, the apprentice found himself to be shocked once again as he noticed an array of blades floated around him. "What's this?" he asked.

"This is where you lose!" Cloud exclaimed as he grabbed the first blade and flew towards the apprentice to slash him. The attack proved successful this time as the cut went through. Afterwards, he continued on and grabbed another one of the floating swords and repeated the technique. He kept this up for each sword that floated in the air with them. Keeping up the combo of his technique, Cloud flew up and grabbed the last sword. In a battlecry of soon to be victory, Cloud slashed the apprentice downward and landed on the ground. As he landed, each blade fell down around him in order while he caught the main blade back into his grasp. The apprentice, now cut up with slashes, fell to the ground infront of Cloud and Tifa.

Walking slowly up to the laid out apprentice, Cloud and Tifa could only stare on at the appearance of him. "Who was this guy?" asked Tifa.

    "I don't know. Apparently, that guy's apprentice.."

Cloud and Tifa's thoughts were interrupted as the sound of clapping filled the air. Everyone turned their attention to the Master Xehanort, the source of the clapping, and awaited to see what he would do now that his apprentice lay defeated.

"Not bad at all." Xehanort complimented while still clapping. "I have to say.. .I am very impressed at the skill you displayed young man. You fought with alot of heart. Even I, the great Master Xehanort, have to respect that..." He ended his sequence of clapping with a pause of silence. "....Even if it was all just a simulation..."

    "What?!" shouted Cloud.

"Cloud! Watch out!" shouted Yuffie once again but her warning was too late. The seemingly defeated apprentice had rose quickly back to his feet and slashed at Cloud's chest with a quick swoop of his keyblade.

"Ah!" shouted Cloud as he fell to one knee grasping at the cut upon his chest. Seeing this, Tifa went in for a punch, however, she proved to be too slow for his seemingly superior speed. He disappeared from the two and reappeared, without his battle wounds, to Master Xehanort's side.

"What... What was the meaning of this fight?" Cloud struggled to ask, still holding his cut.

"To gauge you're strength." Master Xehanort said in an evil chuckle. "Now that I've been entertained with that little show, I suppose we should be on our way. I have alot of work to do if I wish to achieve my goals" He finished and snapped his fingers to release the spell. "Until next time.." and with that, both he and his apprentice vanished.

"Cloud? are you alright?" asked Tifa.

"Yeah.." Cloud struggled to get to his feet. "I'll be fine."

The rest of the restoration committee ran to Cloud's side after the weight of the gravity spell lifted off of them. "What do we do now?" asked Yuffie.

"...I don't know..." said Leon in an unsure manner.

In the office of King Mickey, Jiminy, the wise and always present cricket, was going through his journal entries on the king's desk. "Hmm... it's seemed so long since I've been back here.." he said to himself. Queen Minney looked on at Jiminy as he read all of which he's written from his adventures.

"It must have been nice to travel to all those different worlds with Sora." she said to the top hat wearing cricket.

"Yeah. Sure was." Jiminy said as he turned another page. "I'm glad I wrote down some things about the adventure, too. I don't even think I could even remember everything we experienced on our travels if it werent for this journal."

"How about I get you some tea to enjoy while you read.." Minney offered.

"Oh! Thanks, that'd be nice." the cricket said with a smile. As the queen left the grand room, Jiminy continued to course through the journal. "Hm? What's this?" he asked himself as he came upon a page entry he didnt recall writing.

"What's it say?" came a voice.

Jiminy turned to see King Mickey appear behind him as if he had snuck into the room. "Oh! Your majesty... You startled me." Jiminy said to the king.

"Sorry about that. I guess I've been sneaking and quietly entering rooms and places for so long.... It's become like second nature.." The King chuckled friendly. "So what about this page you found?"

"Well... I found this page and I don't remember writing it... It says...

We must return to free them from their torment"

Ho...Ly...Shiitake Mushrooms. That was EPIC! Cloud was just as powerful as he should have been, though a bit less acrobatic. Tifa's block gave me flashbacks to Dragon Ball Z and Cloud used Omnislash v5! W00T!
