Kingdom hearts video help

    okay guys heres the deal, ive been trying to make a video for kingdom hearts and on windows movie maker, instead on counting it as a video, it counts it as audio. if anyone has any suggestions please tell me.

    Are you using windows movie maker, or windows live movie maker?
    Make sure that you are dropping the clips onto the video rack. Dropping it on the music track will have that result.

    Are you importing the scenes correctly? You can do it the way mixt specified, or simply go to File -> Import into Collections...

    Well I had been referring to moving it from the collection bin to the video itself.

    I forgot to mention in my last post that you can make sure it is going to the video track by using storyboard mode rather than the timeline.

    im using windows movie maker

    i tried that, its still counts it as audio and goes back to timeline. I tried putting it in the video rack Lord knows how many times and it doesnt work.

    What file type are you using? to my knowledge WMM can only accept WMV or AVI.

    Yes, make sure that you're importing accepted file types.

    The following file types are accepted:

    Video Files

    • .snd
    • .au
    • .aif

    Yes this kind of thing has happened to me before. It is most likely the format and I am curious, you said you were making a KH video? Are you using one of this site's videos? Or have you obtained it from somewhere else?

    Ace Phenoix: im using the sites videos.
    Amuray: i made sure to download it as a avi and when i looked on the videos properties it said audio.

    So you're saying that they're videos before you import them, but when you import them, they're only audio?

    Try installing DivX, which can be found here.

    If you already have it, it may be outdated and in need of an update.
