This is my first story. _____________________________________ Chapter One _____________________________________ Sora, Riku, and Kairi were on Destiny Islands reading the letter King Mickey had sent them. It read: "Riku and Kairi there is need of you with me as soon as possible in Disney Castle, and to you, Sora, hope you are well." Sora read these words and asked "Why would he not want me there?" Riku after some time said "Who knows? The King thinks strangely at times though it makes him all the more wise." Kairi then added "It's probably nothing, Sora. Don't worry. "I guess you are right," Sora said. Kairi stares at Sora and Riku. Kairi's eyes start to shine. "Why don't you two go rest for tommorow Riku and I have to go to the king tommorow. " "I guess we should. Are you coming, Riku?" "I'll be there in a while." "Okay see you in a while." Sora starts to go but turns back to say "Are you coming?" but sees Kairi and Riku kissing. Riku says, "We are alone...." Kairi starts a reply but looks up and sees Sora. She quickly pushes Riku away. Kairi has a slight blush on her face. "Sora..." Sora is lost for words but says, "Are you coming, Riku?" his voice and stare almost openly hostile. Riku is also lost for words but manages to say, "Yes right behind you..." _____________________________________ Chapter Two _____________________________________ Sora was in his bed in his house on Destiny Islands. Sora could never sleep peacefully again, though he had had that problem for what seemed like forever. When he had saw Riku and Kairi alone than memory had left a dent in his heart that made him wish he could rip out his eyes, though even if he did he knew he would never forget what he had seen. When he had talked to Riku he had had the urge to kill Riku, though this urge was not new, though it was new for the urge to be on a friend... Ever since he had been turned into a Heartless and back into a human by Kairi he had had the urge, it had made a shadow flame that fed the furnace of darkness that had replaced his heart. When he first turned into a Heartless and back into a human the shadow flame had been small. Though when he turned into Anti Form it had got stronger, even now whenever he turned into Anti Form he could feel it growing stronger. It had also got stronger when he and Riku were alone in the Realm of Darkness. When he was out there and seen Riku and Kairi alone though, he had almost lost complete control of it. At night the shadow flame would burn away all the shields of calmness he had set infront of his heart and mind, then it whisperd to him. The things it would whisper to him...It whisperd of endless sorrow and loss, it whisperd of what he had lost and what he was to lose. It whisperd that: "No matter how hard you try they will die. Eventually Stars burn out, and water runs dry."
_____________________________________ Chapter Three _____________________________________ Kairi and Riku arrive at Disney Castles where King Mickey is waiting. "What is it your Majesty?" Kairi aked. "The seal on Sora's heart that keeps the darkness from the time he turned into a Heartless from spilling into the rest of his body is weakining. If not stoped...," "What?" Riku said trying to keep calm because he had witnessed the hatred himslef. "Well...," said King Mickey. After some time the King mannaged to say, "It will be bad if it happens, though we don't have to worry about it because we'll fix it." _____________________________________ Chapter Four _____________________________________ Sora got up. He didn't really awake since he had never truely slept. The darkness told him, "Does the King think Riku and Kairi are better then you? Does the King tell you anything? Maybe you should show them all who is truely superier." "What am I thinking?" Sora thought. "Reality," the darkness replied.

Kairi asked with some questioning of the King's wsidom. "I didn't wish to worry him. Any stress could speed up the process." "We better hurry then," said Riku remembering a scene from earlier. "I will come along," A shadow said from behind. Sora and Kairi readied there weapons. "This is my most trusted council member and guard, Johark," the King said. The shadow turned into a man and walks forth to the trio. The four people walk off walks off to the King's royal Gumi ship. _____________________________________ Chapter VI _____________________________________ "Why didn't the King bring me?" Sora had still not got over this along with what he had saw earlier. "Perhaps they are plotting your down fall. Perhaps they are planning a wedding...," the darkness said. "No...it coulden't be...," though even as Sora said this within his head the thought were tainted with doubt. One lone thought popped into his head. "Why doesen't the King tell me anything anymore?" No comfirting voice of a friend from the past or the light answerd this thought but instead the darkness did. "Perhaps they fear you. Perhaps they think you are just a puppet that they fear has broken it's string and has developed a spine. Perhaps they fear that you have seen past the lies..."
_____________________________________ Chapter Seven _____________________________________ Sora could hear the darkness say as he looked at the waves surrounding there prison for a home, "Life and history are like the waves that surround this island. It eventually repeats. Though it might have a diffrent begining and end, it always in some way will mimic the past. You played the role of hero the last time you were on this island and Riku the role of villan. This time will you be the villan and Riku the hero? Will it end in redemption or ruin?" "We're here!" Kairi announced as they got to the shores of Destiny Islands. "Where's Sora?" Riku asked. "I think that's him over their," King Mickey said. Sora looked up from the waves and at the trio. "Remember...your heart knows the truth," the darkness said. "What's up Sora?" "So now he's all buddy-like," Sora thought. "Not much," Sora replied coldly. "More like what's down," Sora though colder. The King could tell something was wrong with Sora. He hoped that his worreys were nothing but yet..."Riku, Kairi, follow me. We have importence buisness to discuss," the King said in a tone indicationg Sora. "Johark, stay here and keep Sora company," the King said this in a tone meaning no questions. "Yes King," Johark replied. _____________________________________ Chapter Eight _____________________________________ "So, since we both have nothing to do, do you wish to learn about politics?" Johark said. "Sure," Sora said, fully attentive but yet still bitter over Riku and Kairi. "My first lesson that I will teach you is that those who have power are afraid to loose it. Do you understand? "Sure," Sora said thinking of the King. "Why did we leave Sora?" "Have you done anything to cause stress upon him?" the King asked. "I'll fix it," Kairi promised with a tone that meant no questions. "We will," Riku agreed. "Then go," the King said. The trio of the King, Riku, and Kairi go to the beach."Hey," Riku said. When Sora did not reply the King said, "It's getting late. Johark you sleep in one room in the ship alone. Riku with me and Sora with Kairi." _____________________________________ Chapter Nine _____________________________________ "Why did you kiss Riku?" Sora asked after some time. "He's been through a lot. You have too but yet he has sacrificed so much. I am still forever yours. I have done nothing wrong," Kairi said. Sora did not reply and soon the lights went off. _____________________________________ Chapter Ten _____________________________________ Sora started to feel better. Though then, like always, the darknesss melted all the ice of calmness around his Heart and told him things. "She said she has done nothing wrong. Xemnas used the powers of nothing and yet he managed to cause enough trouble." Again no voice answerd him. The shadow flame in Sora's heart had turned into a dragon. It was like a dead-star dragon. Instead of fueling the light it fueld the darkness. "Ironic," Sora thought, "That I a Knight of the Keyblade can not defeat my own dragon." Sora finally dreamt off and had a vision. It was not a happy one, but it was a vision. In the vision he saw Kairi dying. He couldn't tell if this was the future or dream. All he wanted was it to end. He could not make out the details around her, only her screaming. The vision ended.
@ sora_101: Thanks for the reply and idea. _____________________________________ Chapter Eleven _____________________________________ The King, Riku, and Johark awoke and went to Disney Castle. Their after unpacking the King's stuff and a moment of silence the King said, "Sora, come with me." Sora followed the King leaving Riku and Kairi behind. Johark followed the King and Sora. Soon they wonderd into a room. Sora had never been in this room. He looked down and what he saw shocked him. "Sora, the Heartless and Nobodys have evolved into a state where they have human-like intellegence. Due to this we have made a army of Keyblade wielders known as the Order of Light. The Heartless are the most threat becasue they can be mass-produced. Sora did not reply but a voice inside his head did, "They already have your replacements." The King continued on, "You, Riku, Kairi, and Roxas are not like the others. Thses were raised in the castle." "Why?" Sora thought. The King did not answer that question but instead said, "A new threat has come along with the Heartless and Nobodys. Along with them a new Seeker of Darkness has come along with a pawn. The pawn is a rogue Keyblade wielder. We have begun to wonder if the master has a master...," _____________________________________ Chapter Twelve _____________________________________ The King leads Sora and Johark back to Riku and Kairi. There they all split up. "Sora, Riku, Kairi would you like to come to a political meeting with me?" "Sure," they all said. "Kairi, Riku sit with me. Sora go with Johark." The place they were in now was sometimes called the Senate Arena due to the fact that their were so many battles of polotics waged here. "We are gatherd here today to discuss the buisness of Johark's emergency power and the return of it to the King." "Because of the war I have been allowed to take emergency powers from the King," Johark explained. "The war of the Hearts has waged long enough so we have decided to take action. We have decided to produce human-intellegent Heartless to help in the war." "So even the light resorts to darkness in the end," the dead-star dragon inside Sora said. "As to the buisness of Johark's emergency powers we have all except Sora and Johark signed that we wish the King's powers to return to the King in a civil matter. To this Johark replied, "My dear people, as soon as this war is over I will return all powers," "We except that and we thanks you for your time. Meeting ended." The phrase, "Those who have power are afraid to loose it," ran through Sora's mind. "The King is afraid to loose power," Sora thought. _____________________________________ Chapter Thirteen _____________________________________ While Johark and Sora were in the Senate Arena listening to the announcer the King told Kairi to tell Sora to watch all of Johark's activites and report them back to him. Sora went to the hall and met with the Kairi. "Sora, the King told me to tell you too watch Johark and report all suspiciousc behavior to the King. He has been acting...strange." Before Sora could ask why Kairi went off into the crowd. "Did you do it?" the King asked. "Yes, though I don't believe he trust us anymore." "I am starting to doubt that he should," the King replied. "Ah, well while we are here Riku, Kairi you are now members of the council of the Order of Light. "Why not Sora?" Kairi asked. "Sora...is unstable at the moment," the King replied. "We're happy to help," Kairi replied. _____________________________________ Chapter Fourteen _____________________________________ Sora heard Riku and Kairi talking about being on the council and thought, "Why not me?" Sora bumped into Johark and Johark invited Sora to have some food with him in his office. "Any troubles, Sora?" "Why can't I be on the council?" "You wish to be on the council? Then let it be. You will be my representitive." Johark replied as if they were talking about the weather. "Really?" "Why of course my boy. You are like a son to me." "Thank you, sir." "Your welcome." _____________________________________ Chapter Fifteen _____________________________________ The next day Sora was in a Order of Light council meeting. They talked and talked but yet he wanderd why he was never called on. When he heard something about tracking the rogue Keyblader he volonteered. What a Keyblade Master on the Council replied was, "You are Johark's representitive and you have no rights upon this Council except to voice his opinion. That is final." Sora replied in a voice blacker then his heart, "Why is that? I have sacrificed everything I own and still the light rejects me. What must I do?" "Sora," somebody said from behind. It was Riku and once more he was just a mere boy. Riku got the job of finding the Rogue Keyblader. That made Sora's heart burn. The rest of the meeting went by in a haze.
