This is a story that I've been working on since last summer. Before reading this, just some background info. This is before Kingdom Hearts, like a prequal. Please leave comments. When you are ready for the next chapter, I'll put it up. Kingdom Hearts: The Battle Within Prologue: “Ronen. Ronen. I know you’re here,†said a voice that was obviously not one Ronen knew. “What, who are you? Where am I? This is strange,†said Ronen. He was in a very pitch black area. It seemed though like it was in an abyss that was in between worlds that seemed to coexist. Yet, there behind him was a light that was brighter than any light he ever saw. Ronen was a bright young individual. He can be very cocky at times though. He had brownish, silverish hair, blue irises, red pupils, and he was uncommonly handsome for a guy his age. He was finally entering his final year of high school. He lived in a suburb outside the huge city of Duskville. Some people outside of that area just called it Twilitville. Anyways, Ronen was going to study every single thing that a heart could do and could push to do. His long ambition was to work under a man who was famously known to all people in all worlds. This man was not from around that world, but was the governor of a very beautiful city. Ronen was having strange flashbacks of people he never knew or ever hoped of knowing. These dreams consisted of very evil people who wreaked havoc among many worlds, but there was always a light that destroyed this evil. The hero was never talked much about through all those flashbacks, but it seemed so real to him. One stuck out in his head the most. This one was of a man who wielded what looked like a very powerful sword, but as he was about to destroy a very wealthy and powerful world, a world of strong and pure hearts, a light shown once again and vanquished this evil. That stuck out a lot in Ronen’s head. He hoped that he would never see that kind of evil in his life. But now he was having a very strange dream. “Who is that coming over here,†Ronen whispered to himself? “Who are you? What do you want with me? I’m just a normal high school student. What do you want with me?†The man, who could only be identified by the outline of his sleek black cloak, finally arrived to where Ronen was standing. “What do I want with you, is that what you want to know? What would I want with you, though I could want a lot from you. You never know. But I will tell you one thing. You are a very talented guy. You are special. You are the one who will finally break the spell that seals us in this endless abyss that we are waiting in right now.†“Who are you though, and what do you mean by me being the one who will break this seal,†said Ronen. “You will see in due time.†Out of nowhere a pure darkish purple aura revolved around the right hand of Ronen. A handle to what seemed to be a weapon appeared in his hand. It was strange though. It had the handle and one chain link. It seemed very peculiar to him. “What is this? This is strange. Why does it only have a handle and only one chain link? What’s even more peculiar is that this is that bronze link I saw this morning and put in my pocket. Maybe it’s in my pocket now?†He checks all his pockets, his side pockets and his back pockets. It wasn’t there. “You won’t find it in any spot but for on that handle. I also will not answer that question about what that handle is for. You will have to find out in all due time,†the mystery man said in a deep calm voice. “This has gotta be the strangest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.†“Your adventure will begin soon. Be ready for it. It’s your choice how you interpret how this all begins. I will be seeing you around sometime.†“When will I see you again? “You will see me when I think you’re ready to see me again. Don’t be afraid of anything.†“Why would I be afraid of anything?†“I will be seeing you around, good-bye Ronen.†The man walks away. “That man was very, very strange.†All this time his mother was trying to get him up. It took her over two hours to do so, but she finally got him up. “What’s the matter honey?†“Mom, I’m tired could you wait a minute. I’m still trying to get everything all together in my mind; I had a very strange dream last night.†“Just take your time my soon to be senior.†“Okay Mom, I’m ready to tell you, but you gotta promise noo laugh or think that I’m a weirdo.†“Why would I do that in the first place son.†“Well... ... ... I don’t know, but here my dream goes.â€
Here is the next chapter... chapter 1. Chapter 1 The Start of Something Better “Hey man, whut up.†“Hey Fang, not much here, you? “Same Sayber, what have you been up to today.†“Not much; just walking to school.†“Same. I’m so glad this is the last day. This year went by so fast though. Which is good and bad, but oh well, that’s how school usually goes.†Both of them were about to finish their junior year. Fang was a tall sleek guy. He had black hair with silver tips that blended into his hair. He had red irises and black pupils. He was a famous baseball player where he went to high school. So, needless to say, he was an arrogant, popular guy. He wore some denim blue jeans and a black button up shirt. He had a scar on the side of his right eye that was from being cut by a knife early in his teens. Fang was an expert swordsman. He won 1st out of 400 people in a swordsman contest where they had to use skill to win through many trials. So, if anyone had a problem with chopping something down, he was the one to call. Sayber was also a pretty popular guy. He was the famous linebacker in his high school football team. He was a tall muscular guy with slick dirty blond hair with silver strands throughout it. Besides his football talent, he was also a brilliant student in school. He could be foolish out of school, but no one really cared much. That’s one reason how he became a popular guy. He was also an excellent long and short range shooter. He won 1st out of 400 people in a shooting contest. He was amazingly accurate. He wore black shorts with a dark green t-shirt. He had a goatee and black irises and red pupils. On this day though, it was strange. As they were walking to school, things were getting darker and darker. No matter where they went it just kept getting blacker. They thought that a bad storm was on its way, but that wasn’t the case. A little guy with round ears came to them. He looked really concerned about something. They didn’t have a clue who this guy was, but they didn’t really give much of a care about him. They just kept talking about what they wanted to. The mysterious creature walked slowly to Fang and Sayber. “Dude, why do strange things like this happen so much around here,†Fang said. “How am I supposed to know these things?†“You’ve gotta be quiet and listen to me. You never know who might be listening to me. I know that this looks strange to you guys. But it will all make sense in due time. You guys have the skills and manpower to make a change in your lives, his life, and in the other people’s lives. “Who are you, who is “heâ€, and what gives you the right to talk to us, especially about making changes in our lives? I mean we’re just in high school.†“Please just listen to me guys. You will find out all this information in good time, just please listen to me, and you will find out this stuff. This isn’t a bad storm coming. This is just to stop time to talk to you guys so no one can see us. What I need to say is very important.†“Fine. Get out with it. We gotta get to school soon. We have big contests that could really help us with getting into good universities,†said Fang. “Okay strange things have been happening lately, too strange. You need to find a guy named Ronen. He lives in a suburb around Twilitville. You have gotta find him and tell him that KM has a message for him. Bring him back here and I will talk to all three of you at that time. It is very important that you bring him here. He has blue irises and red pupils. He is one of the smartest guys there. He also has brownish, silverish hair. Find him and bring him here. Get him as soon as five days are up. You guys are very special. You have talents that most people will never have in all of their lives combined. You, Fang, with your swordsman skills will help out with Ronen a lot, and you, Sayber, with your shooting skills, will also help him out a lot.†“Dude, we really gotta get going,†said Sayber. “Please guys this is important. I can’t go there. There is too much of a... oh I can’t tell you guys yet. This and other worlds will be doomed with out his and your guys’ help. Could you do this one thing for me, please?†“...Fine, we will. Will we meet you here again after we get him?†“Oh thanks guys. You need to find him like I said in five days from now. Until then you can live your lives in a normal state, but after that be prepared for a change of everything. And to answer your question, yes meet me here and I will fill you guys in with the rest of the realizations and endurances you guys will go through. Until then, I will see you guys later.†“Okay little dude, we’ll do this but what will we get in exchange for it?†said Fang. “You will get an adventure of a lifetime and you will meet new friends, meet new foes, and hopefully change the lives of many people. Isn’t that what most people want in life, new friends and to change people’s lives? Well, anyways, go get him and I will wait here. You will know I am here when you approach. Don’t be afraid of what lies ahead. Take the adventure by the horns and don’t let go. This will help you endure the hardships and enjoy the friendships, but don’t forget to get him in five days. I will be waiting.†“We’ll be seeing you,†said Sayber. “Yeah, bye.†They walked away excited, but they didn’t want “KM†to find out about their excitement. “That little guy was a strange little man. He was a bit awkward. But who knows maybe this will spark a new story in our lives. I mean we weren’t having that much fun as it was. You just never know. Five days, can’t wait,†said Fang. “Same here, that guy was just a little...odd. But, yeah, I am also excited about this. Who knows, maybe we will finally have some adventure around here. It does get boringound here,†said Sayber. “Amen to that brother. Amen to that. Well, we had better get to school.†They walked away in excitement and wondering why it had to be five days till they could find this “Ronenâ€.
