Kingdom Hearts Short Story: The Dream

"Yeah, so, we'll meet tomorrow at the island, right?" Sora asked. Riku and Kairi nodded as Sora walked away, and Kairi waved goodbye in a very bubbly manner, as always.

"So... it's Friday. Anything going on tonight?" Riku asked Kairi. She punched him in the arm. "Riku, you know I'm not allowed to date yet! And even if I was going out with someone," She turned around, with her back towards Riku. "Would I tell you?" A grin spread across her face as she heard Riku's bike ride away into the wind. She rolled her eyes, thinking about what a fitness freak Riku was, and walked off.

"Hi, Mommy!" Sora walked throuhg his front door, as his mom always left it unlocked. "Man, I really hate walking. Can't I get a bike?" He asked as he sat down at the table for an after-school snack of milk and cookies.

"Oh, Sora, I'm sorry, but you know that's not in our budget right now." She said as she put down the cup on the table next to Sora's plate of cookies. "So, how was school?" his mom asked.

"Good. I was a little tired at school today, but TGIF, right?" Sora asked his mom. "I suppose. Don't forget to clean your room this weekend, okay?" Sora nodded as he finished his third cookie. "Um, Mommy? I'm still kinda tired, do you think I could got take a nap?" Sora asked. "Sure, honey. Sweet Dreams!"

Sora cleared his plate at the table and walked into his room, climbed onto his bed, and went fast to sleep.

The next day, Sora woke up and realized he had missed dinner that last night, but he still wasn't hungry. He got out of bed, and went to see if anyone was awake. He couldn't find his mom, but he assumed she in the shower or something, and headed to the Island.

He walked out and found Kair on the dock, sitting next to a Hispanic boy. "Kairi!" He yelled, but Kairi didn't seem to hear him. The hispanic boy looked back, and said. "Get away, she is with me now!" The boy got up when he saw Sora not leaving, he was too stunned.

The hispanic boy started walking toward Sora, but something was different about him. He started getting slightly deformed, until, Sora could tell, he had something purple growing out of his back. Sora waited a few seconds, then ran backwards, as he saw what was happening to the boy.

I don't wanna fight this guy, this is supposed to be SRK's morning! He thought, using the acronym Riku, Kairi and him had come up with. He turned around and summoned his keyblade. The hispanic, boy, more of a demon right now then anything else, ran at Sora, but Sora blocked his attack. Suddenly Kairi was there, floating, with chains around her arms and legs.

"This chick is mine, now! And for the next years, she's going to be my chick, get it!" The hispanic boy yelled, and Sora, unfortunately, understood what he meant. Fusing with rage, he wouldn't let that demon do that to his friend! He tried to rush at the demon with his keyblade.

He could only watch as his feet disintegrated and he started falling, falling, watching that demon strip Kairi's clothes off. Suddenly, he woke up, and it was just getting dark out. He looked at his cellphone. Still Friday. Good. Just a dream. He thought.

Meanwhile, unbeknowst to Sora and Riku, Kairi was about to go out on a date with the new boy in school, Jose.
