Birth by Sleep Kingdom Hearts Secret Endings questions? (Mostly Blank Points)

This has quite a bit to do with Birth by Sleep, so beware of spoilers!

I'm really only curious (and wanted to try this! 8D *newb*), but you know how in Deep Dive, Xemnas and Roxas are in the Dark Margin, and Xemnas says "He looks a lot like you..." or something along those lines?

How many of you guys think he meant Ven, and he's just slowly regaining his lost memories as Terra? XD

Oh, and during the ending of Birth by Sleep, Terra-Xehanort releases a heart, right? Am I the only one who thinks it was Terra releasing Xehanort's heart? Cause...he pretty much lost control of himself and passed out...>.>

Again, just wondering. :3

 

There's also the fact that in KH1:FM he fought Sora, so I figured he was talking about that.

But didn't Nomura say that this really didn't happen but was a representation of Roxas' feelings, thoughts, memories, etc.? And then in Days, it actually happened?

i thought that when he plunged his keyblade into his chest after you beat terra-xehanort in final story that it was terra taking control of the body for a second trying to get xehanort out but it didn't work and just made him pass out

 

Actually, Terra was gaining control, then Xehanort stabbed himself trying to take Terra out, but it took both of them, leaving behind a Amnesiatic Terranorth behind.

 

Aspirins, anyone? KH is giving me a headache.

I'd have to ask WHY he passed out though? It's just all kind of weird...and effed up. o.e

And I kinda figured that at least SOME memories were left. If he had some scraps to remember "Xehanort", maybe he vaguely had Ven and Aqua's image?

I think he's referring to Sora since he couldn't have "been to see him" (ven) as Terra said. He could be also thinking about Ven but I'm not certain.

I think in the final episode Aqua is fighting Master Xehanort to try to save Terra. At the end of the battle Terra regains control momentarily so Xehanort stops him by stabbing himself. The intense battle could have been very strenuous or both were fighting for control so for the time being no one had control, this could explain why they passed out. If Aqua had weakened MX so Terra was fighting for control over his body then both sides could be equal in power meaning no one had control.

For the amnesia, I think Xehanort just forgets or it could be Terra with holding what happened. I don't know really, maybe the internal battle took a lot out of both of them making him lose memories.

 

That's a very good inference; the whole control over a body thing. I don't mean to offend, but I was wondering if I was the only one who thought/thinks (I don't care at this point. -.-") if it was actually Terra who stabbed himself to get Xehanort out. That would semi-explain why he had no memories by the time he passed out, but that's just me, of course. :3"

I suppose that's a possibility, since none of us really have had a dark, pedo--Keyblade Master enter our bodies and try to fight for control. :| And from what I heard, the LS fight isn't canon.

As for the issue of amnesia:

I figured it was because, in the Kingdom Hearts world, memories are stored in one's heart. Because the internal battle ended with Master Xehanort having control of the body, that also means that Master Xehanort's memories are attached to the body--Master Xehanort's heart was the active heart, if you will.
Terra's heart, holding all of his memories and what not, was dormant during the fight with Aqua.
When Terra reawakened for that split second, I had assumed that it was Terra who stabbed the body, not Master Xehanort, almost as a last resort--he wanted to end the fight, and perhaps damage Master Xehanort in some way. Of course, he failed, but it's possible that that damaged the memories in some way, leading to the amnesia we see in Terranort. When Xemnas and Xehanort's Heartless are created, there may lie the faint whisper of memories, due to Terra's heart being present at their birth. During the time between the loss of Terranort's heart and KH2, it's possible that these memories had begun to slowly restore to Xemnas, explainging why he calls Aqua's armor "old friend".

I could be wrong on all of this though, it's been a while since I watched the BBS scenes. xD

That's what I was thinking, only I suspected the memories of Terra went back to his armor, cause memories can't be at two places at once. And Aqua and Ven's faces flashed during Terra's story's ending. That doesn't happen for no reason. XD

Of course, it's understandable if you forgot some. The only reason I remember is because I'm a perfectionist and write fanfics that need a lot of cutscene-watching. xD

 

When I first heard "He looks a lot like you" I assumed at first he was talking about Roxas because of (358/2), but now it kinda makes sense since BBS released he has to be talking about Ven. Since he mainly forgot his memories while still young as Terra I believe he somehow regained them back as he got older. :/

 

Yeah, he did. :3 From Aqua, supposedly.
