Kingdom Hearts Manga in the USA- Light at the End of the Tunnel

It is well known now that the Kingdom Hearts manga series were canceled by TokyoPop, but they were still being made and released in Japan. Well with the downfall of TokyoPop all of it's licenses are now out of it's hands, if they wanted to the original owners of the Kingdom Hearts manga could commission some company to localize it.

What do you think, would you like to see any localization of the previously unlocalized and future volumes? I would love this if they were to do it.

 

I'd also love that - I wouldn't mind one bit if I had to import the books from the US; it's worth it! :)

 

It denpends on the cost, I do love the mangas but I have a limit on how much I'd spend on them. Yes, I'd prefer it if they came to the UK but if it was a reasonable price and they could be continued then I'd love that!

Despite knowing the Kingdom hearts story back to front, the mangas do offer a different story which is what I like, they add to it and make the battles better xD So yes, I was sad to find out they had cancelled them but if they could come back that would be great.

 

I'd like to finish reading the Kingdom Hearts II manga, since I finished Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts. I didn't know until a while ago that they had stopped translating it.

 

definitely. i was trying to collect the volumes, just before Tokyopop cancelled it. so ive got 2&4 of KH1 and both of CoM but thats it. i would love to finally finish reading KH2 and start Days tho'

 

Same with me, i only realised when a friend told me. Looks like i won't be finishing my collection or atleast be able to read it :3

 

We could always request Mangareader or some Manga subbing site to translate for us.

 

true, but the sites never have the complete series. KH1 was finished, but not 2. actually, i dont think that 2 ever got translated into english. oh well, maybe it will now.

 

yeah, 2 was translated into english. My library even has some. But mangafox has a few chapters in english, but they missed a lot

 

Mangas are awesome!!! Especially the KH series. My favorite is the battle between the Alice in wonderland boss when donald is shouting at sora to think of the coldest blizzard and then a huge wave of ice comes out of the keyblade and delivers the final blow to the heartless. Thats my favorite scene.

 

I have all the published UK KH manga, including Vol 1 and 2 of the KHII manga. I remember seeing Vol 3 and 4 on Amazon and being madly excited, ordering them the second I could. Imagine my face when they arrived and they were all in German :(
I love the manga, helped me unravel the plot a bit, especially chain of memories. I could just flick to the bit I wanted to instead of having to fight Repliku 100 times again :)

 

I think it would be great to see more KH manga (translated) I have read all of the first series, I actually own one of the books from tokyopop (volume 1&2 I think)

Though it will probably never happen (good things never do) I would definitely read any KH manga that is re-published translated.

 

Any kh fan would love that ^^ but it's just like final mix...no matter how much people would want it it just won't happen...
