Kingdom Hearts II Kingdom Hearts II: how to get glide?

I know getting this ability is possible, but how? I'm at level 99 and all my summons and drives are at level 7.

 

Do you have Final Form? When you level that up (each Nobody you destroy gives you exp) you can get flight. You can unlock it after the Sora V Roxas cutscene. Go into any form (as long as you have 5 drive I think) and it will either randomly take you to the form you chose/ or final form/ or if you're totally unlucky and get anti-form.

 

This but I found master form was the best to get it, also you have to beat a nobody to get the option of turning into final when ever you like. Otherwise it will stay a random form like anti-form is.

 

Master gives a higher chance of going anti and therefore a higher chance of going final, yes. But I know you don't need to kill a nobody to get it permanent. I always get it in the dark city where there is nothing but shadows.

I always do this if I need to try and get final. Go to the start of TWTNW and go into battle. Drive into Master. If you get Master then run back through the portal to Betwixt and Between. You will be out of drive and standing as Sora again with full Drive. Drive into Master again (no chance of getting final or anti here, just makes it more likely to get it back in TWTNW) run back through the same portal. Again you will revert and have full drive. Repeat until you get anti or final.

If you get anti then try to get 3 drive and then go into valor/wisdom outside of battle. And then you can use the portal to get full drive again.

 

As for unlocking Glide once you've got Final Form: The best place to do your grinding is Naught's Skyway, in TWtNW. Kill everyone there, then advance to the next room and kill those as well, and keep alternating between them 'til your Drive gauge is nearly depleted. Then use the world map glitch Mixt described to get your gauge back. (If you don't know, moving to the world map via save point while still in a Drive form will reset your Drive gauge to max.) Don't forget to use Oathkeeper to maximize your form duration. It'll be a grind no matter what, but this should help it go a bit more quickly.

 

Right, I forgot to mention grinding after the unlock. Considering you're level you can grind just about anywhere with nobodies, I personally liked using Mysterious Tower at Twilight Town. One magnet will wipe out most rooms, and if it doesn't two will. You just go through the tower annahilating everything and bail at a save point at the other end and go back in. Though I find that you're form bar doesn't last long enough for this until about level 3. But again I never tried at your level so you might be able to do that sooner.
