After Sora and Vanille enter Crystal Stasis, Riku joins Lightning to find their friends. Entering new worlds and places like never before. Standing on the bridge, Riku and Lightning stand several feet apart, looking at each other. "Well, let's go. We don't have forever." Lightning said, crossing her arms, and walks past Riku towards the shack door. Riku looks after her, then follows slowly behind. Lightning walks on the beach and pauses, then turns to Riku. "Alright, follow me." She snaps her fingers and a silver portal opens. Riku stares in shock. "Wow." He said, hurrying after her. The portal closed behind them.
Before I start, I'm going to assume this is the Prologue to the rest of your story: I think you could have added a bit more of a backstory. How did Sora and Vanille end up in Crystal Stasis? How did the KH and FFXIII characters meet up? It doesn't have to be a story in itself, but some backstory would help to expand upon the plot an overall world you are trying to create in your story, and it would provide a nice atmosphere, tone and such. Also, Riku seemed a bit out of character to me.Typically, Riku tries to o things by himself in order to stop others from getting hurt (since he thinks all of their problems are his burden to bear). So maybe you could add this as well in a backstory. Anyway, I think you have an interesting concept. I always did wish for a FFXIII world in KH. ;~; I look forward to seeing your next update! c:
yeah, i should add the backstory, and i will be sure to add it! I thought it'd be cool to have FFXIII and KH together. And the reason Riku's kinda out of it, is cuz he's kinda intimidated by Lightning. But he returns to his old self pretty soon. And thanks for reading :) I'll be updating soon. ~ The portal opens and Riku finds himself standing in an alleyway someplace unfamiliar. "Lightning, where are we?" Riku asked. Lightning stops walking to look at him. "Palumpolum. A city in Cocoon. One of many actually. Maybe we might be able to find something that could tell us where Sora and Vanille are." She said. Riku looks at the opening of the alleyway, then runs to the exit. "C'mon, Lightning! Sora and Vanille are waiting for us! K Let's do it!" He yelled. Lightning cracked a rare smile. "So enthusiastic. Alright, let's go. But be on your guard, don't wander off, and PLEASE keep up!" She said, running out of the alley and into the streets of Palumpolum, with Riku right behind her. "Halt!" A guard stepped in front of Riku and Lightning. Riku huffed "c'mon! out of the way!" He said. The guard shook his head "no one is allowed to come through here." He said. Lightning pulled out her Gunblade "then, we'll have to force through." She said. The guard shook his head "no you may not pass. Now if you please, turn around and don't come back." He said. Riku glared at him. "We don't have time for this!" He yelled, summoning Way to Dawn. Guard sighes in disgust "very well, I'll just have to MAKE you turn around." Lightning pointed her Gunblade at the guard "well, I say 'Bring it on.'" She said deeply. The guard pulled out his gun. Riku looked at Lightning "let's do it!" He said. Lightning nodded "bring it!" She said, running to the guard, dodging the million bullets the guard was shooting.
