Birth by Sleep Kingdom Hearts:Blank Points

I just unlocked the Secret Ending of Birth by Sleep, everyone should've seen it by now with the subtitles. But I have 2 questions for those on the forums.

1. Why do so many of you jump to the Conclusion that the next KH game will be titled "Kingdom Hearts:Reconnect??

2. Why is the secret ending titled "Blank Points?"

 

Blank Points? Where do you get that...?
I'm guessing that we're saying its "Reconnect. Kingdom Hearts", because that's what the very last thing they showed us, which was that title.

 

Because it didn't say "Kingdom Hearts 3". It said "Reconnect. Kingdom Hearts"

But since "reconnect" was above the title and all that, I doubt it's the title of the next game... But we'll know when they announce it ^^

 

Alot of people are jumping to the conclusion that it's going to be named Kingdom Hearts: Reconnect because those were the final words of the secret ending I think. The same thing happened with Birth by Sleep in the KH2FM secret ending.

That's... Er... The same thing as Reconnect. Isn't it?

 

It looks like it. Whoever posted the video gave it that name. As to why, I have no idea. Everywhere else has simply referred to it as the "secert ending" and nothing else.The only reason I could see it being given a new name like that would be if that what it's called in theater mode or the BBS ultimania called it that. But the ultimania hasn't been released so, the first might be the case. But if the first is correct, you;d think we would've heard of it more than just this once. Heart station or KH13.com would have said something or changed their posted video's titles. Personally, I don't have that much faith in a title only given by a video on YouTube. It could just be a fan made name for the trailer to make it separate from the other ones. By giving it a different name, it has a better chance of being seen then naming it "KH BBS: secert ending" which there are alot already.

 

I went to the Theater mode and the secret ending is titled "Blank Points" in english, like Birth by Sleep and the Gathering were titled in English in KH2 Final Mix+ I'd post a picture, but I'm at school right now.

I'm not sure if it says "Ending" but thats the scene I get when watching it. "Blank Points" leads to the secret ending.

 

Honestly, the "reconnect. Kingdom Hearts" meant to look back over the series and reconnect points between the games. Nomura even hinted at this in an interview when he said the secret ending might change the way you look at things in the series. It's not going to be the name of the next game. Kingdom Hearts 2 wasn't named after the last words from the Deep Dive video (can't remember what those words were right now, but i know it had words). Besides, "Reconnect. Kingdom Hearts" or "Kingdom Hearts: Reconnect" would sound ******ed as the name for a video game unlike Birth By Sleep which actually sounds good.

 

Thanks for bringing up the Deep Dive thing, I've been meaning to use that as an example, but forgot. The only words Deep Dive said at the end was "KINGDOM HEARTS" I think there might've been a "II" though.

 

If I recall, the II was the last number displayed in a countdown from XIII throughout the video. Instead of continuing to I it said 'Kingdom Hearts' instead.


As for Blank Points, I think it refers to the same thing as reconnect does. Like, there are blank points that need to be reconnected. So the game based on the secret ending where Sora goes off to do whatever could be called Reconnect, Blank Points, or something completely different. Whether there will be another game before that, as hinted by Nomura, remains to be seen.

 

I figured Blank Points meant to fill in some questions, such as how the KH2 Xehanort came to be, who he was, how he knew the other Org. members. And to tell people what happened to Ansem the Wise. Y'know? Its filling in the "Blank Points." I'd love for the Next KH game to have Aqua meet Sora at his current age.
