KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep: Receives 10/9/9/9 from Famitsu

KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep received a score of 37/40 from the Japanese video game magazine "Famitsu". The review is known as "Cross Review", which is not rated by one staff member, but four from the gaming magazine. The results are shown in this week's issue for Japan. I've translated the reviews below in the best way possible.

Rating: 10
Each character has their own story and their own events that occurred in the title. It was a fresh feeling while playing as each character. The graphics and music in this title is amazing, really good. The mini games is also excellent. Overall, it's just perfect.

Rating: 9
The growth system is excellent. It's hard to get tired while in battle. It's just an easy operation and there are so many attacks and abilities to chose from. The story for the three characters is satisfactory.

Firstly, I was quite impressed by the amount of story they had by the view through the eyes of the three main characters. The stages for the characters was nicely done. The command board is great and fun, but it also helps strengthening your commands.

Between the three different characters, and the commands and styles to chose from, there was an amazing variety to chose from while in battle. When the command you use increases in strength, you can chose your own way to fight, which is very enjoyable. The boss battles were really good, you can have a lot of fun with them through the direction is takes you.

this makes me even more pumped to play it. 358/2 days seemed kind of disappointing to be honest, so im happy this game seems like its getting good reviews so far.

Birth by Sleep will be a great addition to the Kingdom Hearts franchise. I agree with Radiowave, 358/2 days was good but it did seem to lack in some areas such as replay value, but Birth by Sleep looks very promising.

How under valued is the western market for Square-enix, anyway? THey still haven't announced anything... I bet they'll see how the sales go for Japan and then discuss the market release date for North America and Europe.

Still, I didn't need these reviews to tell me this game was going to be wonderful. Glad to hear that it is seen very positively, hope the Western reviews appreciate it the same.
