Video Kingdom Hearts AMV::Erase Us::Tell me what you think.

This is my first AMV with Sony Vegas.I know it could have been better now that I am more experienced. Constructive criticism allowed.

I actually really, really liked that; your song choice was original, you used clips sparingly and you made the clips fit the lyrics. Overall, a fantastic first Vegas video.

I did feel, though, that while the lyrics were matched well some of the beats were not. I noticed you had certain effects applied to separate 'sections' of the song with different feels (am I making sense?), but a lot of the time little attention was paid to the beat otherwise. It especially looked like, in the beginning, there were a lot of random effects and pan/cropping thrown in just for the sake of adding effects or panning/cropping; this is understandable for any first Vegas video but something I wouldn't advise in future videos. Effects, when placed in the wrong areas, can be distracting rather than dazzling <: .

My recommendation is to keep it up with matching the lyrics, but trying to use effects more sparingly/appropriately and to use cuts that match the beats a little more often to keep the video from getting boring. I really enjoyed it, though, and props for the part with the speaking around 2/3 of the way through, in some videos I absolutely cannot stand that but you made it work really well.
