Then, what's the last slot in the magic area used for?

 

it is to make you ask what its for and for you to die trying to use it.
of course i may be wrong and there sould be someething to go there, but i would've found it on one of my 3 playthroughs...
i beat easy a few days ago. and i beat hard, and normal a few months ago...
and i also used a have all panels cheat on easy, if that helps confirm what i said at all.
