Fandub Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (KHV: Fan Promo Video)

Hey everyone, I mentioned that the first KHV fan promo video for Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days would be posted on May 1st, but I’ve decided to post the video a day before. This is due to me rushing with the cast to work on other videos and the new trailer that was released two days ago. By the way, I want to fix the confusion that's been going around. We are not dubbing the whole game. We are only focusing on promotions, commercials, teasers and some random scenes.

This video that's posted below took me a month to piece together. Olivia from Heart Station has helped by providing translations. The sound effects were done by me. If you’re wondering, the lip sync is pretty good. It may be off just a tad bit, but that can only be noticed if you’re truly on top of it. The pressure has been on for weeks and the fan promo video is finally here. I really do hope that you all enjoy what you’re seeing. Please take the time to comment and rate on how you feel the video was made. I want to thank my production team for helping out to make this video production piece together. FAIL!

Everyone in this whole production sucked and that's only do to no directing or HORRIBLE DIRECTING! The only 2 who did really well was the girl who played Namine and the guy who played DiZ. The Guy that played Siax was OK, but only just, his Mic made me through up; everyone else sucked! Mike your directing this production, i presume, you should learn how to not suck. As a once great actress said: If you suck, learn how to not suck! I would LOVE to make this pile of....dead kittens...alive and BEAUTIFUL! I know your an amateur Mike, but your in need HELP and I'm opened to help you! Everyone in this production should be an actor! Therefor having the experience to put themselves into the other characters mind sets and speaking the way they should. Keep in mind their past and how that has changed them to who or what they are today. I will now criticize the actors:

Mike (Roxas)~ You're not believable as Roxas. Your lines come out pretty blunt and hard, not smooth at all! Be more relaxed with your lines. Also your not even ACTING AT ALL! Voice acting is the same thing as acting, but people can't see you. You make the character likable by voice acting. So far I just hate the Roxas you play. Talk how Roxas would talk in his own way. Put yourself into the characters shoes and express him. The whole 255th day scene was SO bad! 1. It wasn't believable. 2. You sucked. 3. You don't know how to say your lines! 4. YOU SUCKED AGAIN! You need to learn how to direct other people to how they should say their lines, since your in charge of this production, it's up to YOU! I will help if you want it!

Sephysl (Xion)~ ...You suck at life! You're worse than Mike! I can't believe he chose you to play Xion: you can't act, you can't voice act, and you can't ACT! You don't know how to express yourself as actress. You don't know how to say your lines, now this might be due to the fact that Mike can't direct anything, but I've taken in that consideration and have decided that it is entirely your fault you can't act! Voice Act! or put yourself into the characters shoes! I think you should go back up and read the quote "If you suck, Learn how to not suck!" What you need to do is read Mikes criticism and how he should improve and apply that to yourself but 2000 times more! P.S. Get a better Mic!

TheVader74 (DiZ)~ 8 out of 10 on over all performance. Thank you...THANK YOU FOR BEING in this production. You actually KNOW what your doing and how to do it! How the character feels is obvious. You were really good! I'm glad you know how to act. You are the only one making this production good. KEEP IT UP!

Ol"Sephy (Axel)~ ...you don't know how to act or say your lines! I bet you didn't even know that Axel and Roxas are friends cause you could've fooled me if you did. The 255th day scene you sounded serious when you should've sounded like you were friends with Roxas! ACT! Nobodies don't feel anything, yes, but they pretend they do! Also, Roxas makes Axel feel like he has a heart. By the way, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR MIC? If it is your Mic get a better one! If it's you editing your voice to sound like Axel then you fail! I don't see why Mike chose you either as part of this horrible production! Performance: 2 out of 10 as Axel. Hey don't feel to bad, you did 20 times better than Mike and Sephysl! :)

Ol"Sephy (Riku)~ You did better in this area that the Axel area. When your Riku slow down more while talking and get a better Mic. 4 out of 10 as Riku

Morris1113 (Siax)~ Eh you were OK. You need to know that Siax really doesn't show any emotion at all. Get a better Mic. You did better than most of the people in this production. 6 out of 10 overall performance. :)

Faded/phantom (Namine)~ Where do I begin...so i have 5 words for you: Best Actress in the Production! I want to hug you SO bad! You know what your doing, you know how to act, and you know how to put yourself in the characters mind set! 9 out of 10. Fantastic! :D

P.S. Get a better Axel!

If you learn how to suck,(which most of you do) then learn how to NOT SUCK!

Anyone who thought this was a great production should go and watch a Disney Movie! or the Dark Knight! Namely something with voice acting...i know that the Dark Knight doesn't have voice acting, but it's still an awesome movie! Or replay Kingdom Hearts and study how they act compared to this. So if you thought this was...good...then you don't know what you're talking about because it clearly sucked face! And I'm sorry, but this is the Truth.

 

I'm pretty sure Xion is pronouced zee-on not zhee-on. Im sure Zhee-on is just the Japanese pronunciation.

 

Hands down, DiZ was the best!

So Mike, when are you gonna make a trailer with all the other characters? You can just use clips from the previous games, you know, for the sake of introducing the rest of the voices as a teaser before the game actually comes out.

P.S. Hey Doxyc, critisize, but constructively, not destructively - it's a FANDUB. Don't expect them to be as good as the actual voice actors.

 

Oh my god.....have some f*****g respect.....I don't see you in this production, mainly because you probably suck and don't sound good enough to be in the production.....and when you became so perfect that you could tell all of the people that they sucked and needed to not suck was crap, because last time that I checked, I wasn't in this but I have some courtasy that I can compliment people when they tried, and it sounded like it deserved a nice compliment because it did, no it wasn't perfect but it was really nice, some loose ends but they will be cleaned up....jerk....Ad i dont think that after the rudness that He just got from you, that Mike will ask for your help....i know that i wouldn't........

Congratulations Everyone....it was nice, no matter what this lowlife says, it wasn't picaso but it was better than anything he could make, and I hope to see more....

Eh, not as good as I expected. Roxas, Saix, Diz, and Namine were the best, though some lines just felt...dead of emotion. Riku's ok, but needs a better mic. The worst offender was Axel. Sounded like he had a cold on a bad mic, and the yelling was just...not believable at all.

I'd say keep at it, but at this rate, improvement is necessary if you plan on doing the whole game.

Ol"Sephy ii hope you get a new mic cause your voice isn't good recorded and you sound a little like you have a cold in the fandub.
Morris1113 you should try a liitle more anger in Saix voice.

The only problem I really had with it was the interchange between poor quality and high quality mics. I thought all the voice actors did a good job though... just wish the quality was equal but I suppose that can't be helped.

Congratz everyone!! whooo~!! Namine was sooo cute when she said 'Sora...' and in some parts, Roxas actually does sound like the real VA. But I have to say my favorite was DiZ.

And who cares what Doxcy says, he just want to take over the production.

 

I thought it all pulled together great. not perfect, but still great.

Also, thank you to your kind comments on the DiZ voice (Me). I only had 5 lines, yet some of you think I did the best in the video?! Mic quality could always be improved, but that's another issue. Well Done guys.

 

Yeah....I kind of agree that...the mics were......off......and it really hurt my ears when I would strain to hear one guys voice and then another is super loud. I guess the voice acting wasn't too bad.....although....some parts sounded really.....unconvincing and....emotionally dead. And I was just wondering whether the "heck" at the end was truly necessary.....also...Doxcy....some of your points may have been right, but Jesus Christ. What kind of advice is that? "Learn how to not suck"? Were you quoting some dumb blond actress who knew **** about acting? I mean really now....chill. I'm sure Mike knows he needs to improve a little but geez. Stop thinking you're king of the world.

 

cool :D namine was amazing and so was diz. axel riku saix roxas were ok to. but.....really in my opinion xions voice didnt really.......i dunno fit. like she did a good job but....just.....yeah. rock on all u awsome peoples who did this!!!

 

I agree with Doxyc (to some degree). Axel sucked. I however didn't realize ol'sephy was Riku as well. Good choice! But you still need a better Axel. I tried out for the part, and I can't believe I lost to him! I thought I was at least 85% with my Axel. I know I sound pathetic and whiney, but I am still available! If you don't think I fit the part, fine! I can live with that. But get a better Axel!

Advice for Saix: Lighten your voice! Saix dosen't have that deep a voice!

To Xion: Since I've never heard Xion's voice in English, I can't say whether it was a good imitation or not. I thought you were an ok actress, but you definitely need work.

To Mike: I thought your Roxas was excellent! Great job as ever, although I think Roxas' voice is deeper.

To Ol' Sephy: Dude! You Rock as Riku! I could've sworn that I was listening to David Gallagher! (incorrect spelling)

To Diz: You were ok.

To Namine: Good job!
