Fandub Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (Fandub Production)

Previous Fandub Production (Promotional Video) 5/6/2009​

Hey everyone, there's been slow news now for the whole month of July. The only thing that went on during this month was the Comic Con 2009 event in San Diego. As for the Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (Fandub Production), we are working on bringing it back. I'm in the process now of recording lines and putting the video together. This fandub will include every scene from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. We are working with Heart Station and KH13 in bringing the best fandub production that we can. We expect this production to continue from August-September. There's a lot of videos, but the next one that I'm releasing will have all the scenes as it will be a huge promotional video for the game. There's a lot of exciting features and an improvement will show in the upcoming video. I hope you guys stick with us and come back on August 10th for the premiere of the fandub production #3 promotion. On that note, I'm working on the video and it's pretty sad so far. It's very emotional, at least for me (laughs).

Looks like it'll be really good. I'd suggest modifying the translations a bit to accomodate the English language.

Examples
"Don't say such a selfish thing!" should be "How can you say something so selfish!?"
"I can't return as it is now. What can I do to become the same as you two?" should be "I can't return with things as they are. How can I become like you two?
"I'm only returning the place to which I mus return to." should be "I'm only returning to where I need to be."

Those kinds of things. I could help with that in the fandub if you'd like.

Hey Mike, I really look forward to the end production! I never responded to the last email, but obviously, please feel free to edit the translations to sound better in English! That's what localizing is all about!

 

Looks great but I'm not gonna watch. It's only because I don't wanna find out what happens until I get the game myself.

 

Logic behind this fan-production.
He thinks fandubbing is fun.
Some people can't handle a two month wait.
The other people in it think it's fun.

 

It's simple. I wanted to do something unique compared to other websites. I gave other members a chance to also be included into the production. I don't care if I did this even after the game released. It's a fansite, where people should be able to show their work. It's not an official website guys. My advice is that if you really hate the fandub, then don't pay attention to the update. It's not that hard...

On another note, there's also a lot of people that also do enjoy the production as well.

 

I never actually paid attention to this fandub stuff before and all and just watched it and the spoilers were kind of fun. Some of the voices in this really are pretty close to matching the characters' voices. Everyone did pretty well.

 

Cool, it's sound better and better everytime.
