Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix?

In fact that I didn't find any thread about it, I decided to post a new one.
(I'm sorry if any simmilar thread exists and I created this one though ><)

So, I don't know if there is any official information about this game out there by now, that's why I wanted to ask you about it.
Whenever I'm visiting some KH related websites, I often read something about a game called "KH 2.5 HD Remix" which shall be a HD remake of KH 2 Final mix + (and maybe bbs, or well I dunno actually)
Is that only simple rumours in our fandom or are there any official information about it?
I kinda think such a HD remake is pretty conclusive, because of KH 1.5 hd remix and of KH 3... but well as I already mentioned I really don't know.
I hope we can share some information here.

I'm happy to hear about this news, I hope the game will come out soon, so no game's left until KH 3 ..
of course, I want it to come out soon because of the game itself, too. (KH2 in HD for ps3, a true-coming dream >.< <3)

I hope that Re:codded becomes playable , as the story itself is kind pointless.. and it would be horrible to watch all the plot twists, that circle around itself (if it were only a movie), and it is genually fun to play.
As for BBS or DDD, I hope is DDD because I didn't play it, and I would fell a little off to put BBS in here since all games are coming in a cronological order now.. but I would like to have BBS eventually so whichever comes by I'll love!

 

A 2.5 remix is an interesting question. By chronological theme it would contain RE: Coded and 3D, but it is hard to imagine them not including BBS anywhere. But regardless of that all of those games are on handheld; would they get the 358/2 Days treatment, or would they be ported over? Only time will tell I guess (assuming they do decide to do it)

Its gonna be awhile for 2.5 to be announced but something tells me there is something about 2.5 that we aren't going to Like...

Days simply functions very differently from a standard KH. 1,2, Re:CoM, BBS and 3D all clearly run on a similar engine, but Days would almost definitely need to be rewworked to the quality of those titles if remade

 

Okay, I was thinking about this yesterday, and regarding the title "2.5", it doesn't make much sense.
The logical next title would have to be 3.0, given the first game is 1.5. Now, taking care of the elephant in the room, that would obviously have to tie into the infamous KH3 in some way, given that we still haven't gotten word of the next HD remix, and by the time it comes out, we will probably know more about the situation regarding KH3, or it's status will have progressed or something.

I'm not trying to suggest anything major, perhaps simply the 3.0 remix will contain some prequel or teaser video to KH3, something to get us all excited for the inevitable title.
That and the teaser at the end of DDD has me all kinds of excited for this thing that doesn't exist yet.


Of course I could be wrong, but my imagination was running wild and this is what it came up with.

 

I think that 1.5 was selected because it contained the games leading up to Kingdom Hearts II--they're not numbered entries, but they do fill a space between 1 and 2. Following this logic...
Kingdom Hearts = 1
Days = .25
CoM = .25
Kingdom Hearts II = 1
Re:Coded = .25
BBS = .25
DDD = .25
However, this makes the distinction based on console vs. handheld, not the actual expanse of the game nor the significance to the story. Furthermore, it'd be hard to place BBS because it happens before 1.5, chronologically. I'd bank on something like 2.5 because it's not yet 3, but it's pretty close.

Yeah, some time after posting that I thought that I was pretty much, well, wrong. I don't really stand by what I said anymore, but I left it up just to see what people thought.

 

No worries, always good to have a bit of discussion. I think we've all learned by now that KH titles are unpredictable (and, in some cases, incoherent), so any guess is a good guess.

 

If they really wanted to make a BBS 2 (theres some hints at the end of BBS) they could do BBS + BBS2 in a bundle...
I think they screwed up, they should had put the BBS in 1.5, but at this rate we would end up with another non playing game...
