For those of you who don't know, Kimya Dawson was the woman who made the Juno soundtrack sparkle. Armed with her witty and bittersweet lyrics and calming folk sound, she's definitely worth a listen. She has a sort of innocence in her voice, which, in my opinion, works beautifully with the folk sound. I was watching Juno yesterday C: 2 times. Her songs are actually good :3 I like her voice and a lot , she's very talented. *Starts to whore out the Juno soundtrack again*
xD Yeah, I re-watched Juno recently and that's what made me want to listen to more of her. But you should definitely try some more of her songs. :3 (even though "So Nice So Smart" is one of her most beautiful creations)
