KHV Murder Mystery : How it all works

Okay, thankyou for joining and welcome to our exclusive group ^,^

What I thought could happen was we start a thread saying someone (we need to decide who) has been murdered, [all of us] were at the scene when it happened, describe the crime scene and the injuries the person has. Then get them to interveiw each of us, find clues (perhaps vms between us) and piece together the puzzle of what had happened.

But of course we need to get our stories straight.

We need to decide who was murdered, which of us did it, why they did it (we all should have a motive) and how they did it. Remember all's not what it first appears we may all have our little serets and reasons for maybe lying.

Also it might be a good idea to subscribe to the group through 'group tools' to stay active and up to date with this.

First of all, should we decide right now who the murderer is? And then go out of our way to make sure nobody gets the right person :B

 

Wait, I'm confused though.

Did you make two separate groups: one for the detectives and one for the suspects? Because if the detectives can access this group, they can see who you the murderer is.

If you didn't already, I think there should be two separate groups. In the detective group, you can explain to them the "rules", what happened to the body, who died, etc. (just not who did it). For the suspect group (this group), you should tell us all the details (including who did it, since we're all suspects). That way, if the detectives decide to "interrogate" us, we know who not to give away.

This group is just for suspects, the ones who have a part to play and are in on the secret. It's invite only and only members of the group can see it's contents, so we should be able to figure things out in here and on msn in secret.

As for another group I'm undecided weather to put th actual game as another group or as a thread. Your advice on that would be helpful.

And we could decide the killer now but we have to be careful, we have to pretend that we don't know who the killer is and if we try too hard too stop them discovering the killer we might make it obvious who it is. Also we have to at least make it appear that every single person's first priority is to prove themselves innocent.

 

Alright, thanks for clarifying. I just wanted to make sure because it wouldn't be much fun if the detectives found out who did it right from the start. xD

 

Nothing says that the suspects have to band together to beat the detectives. If it were me, I would try to get someone else found in order to avoid suspicion falling on myself.

 

I want Makaze to be dead for sure. Cause of death: Raped and killed by Saxima.

Okay, so who do we want to be the one murdered? -can already guess the answer- I need to know for certain before we can do much more and whoever is murdered has to not mind their vms being taken over.

I was thinking we could set up mock arguements and the like in their vms before they get murdered to give clues towards what's happening if the detectives look.

 

I vote for killing Makaze. Both in the game and in real li*shot*

 

Are we all in cahoots? As in, do we all IC know who the murder is? Are we all trying to cover up for him/her, or are we simply trying to defend ourselves/tell the truth?

Only the murderer and the dead should know who the murderer is, preferably. Unless there are witnesses.

 

Well it has to at least appear like your first priority is to defend youself (or the perhaps the one you love depending on your role), you each play a role and you have to make it appear like you don't know who who the killer is. I was considering not telling everyone who the killer is as that might make people work too hard to make them seem innocent, in turn giving them away but that would make it quite difficult to organise. No, we can try to make other people more significant and other facts more important to draw attention away from them but act like your character would.
