Let me start with this: this will help the forum in no way, but I thought it would be something...to look forward...to? From one day the entire year (like khv's birthday), for perhaps a couple of hours, (or maybe for the entire day,) all spamzone posts and every else they dont cont could become valid. It gives members who actually aim to become premiums something to look forward to...a day in which you could "mad-dash" your way to premium. Now that I write this and think about it, I could only imagine this staying for a couple of hours on whatever special day is chosen...it would be fun, yet useless, and a way for members to become premiums faster.
? It allows access to some special section and gives you custom user title... its a secret? I know there may be other things...but...can't we just read the sticky in the "forum assistance section?"
With it lasting only a few hours, it gives normies a chance to get like only...50-200 posts in...mods can shorten the time to a few minutes if they wanted to, and have "mad dashes" on random days throughout the year for only a few minutes (like 30 minutes or something. They can control the timing) And if someone like me becomes a prem because they have 800+ posts, I'd have to argue they earned a majority of them. EDIT: oh, and some people purposely hang out in the spamzone or rp zone so that they dont get posts.
Exactly. There would be more prems than normal members >_> I do think it would be possible, but it would make prem less special.
Stupidest idea ever. Not only because it will never be approved, but because it shows a lack of knowledge of a forum. Once the time is over, the sections would not count anymore and your post count would be lowered again.
Anyways, as I also said, I don't think it's even possible. I think that if they do let the posts count there, every single post that was ever made in there will count, and once they no longer count, all new posts won't count anymore. At least, that's what I think. EDIT: Crono beat me to it.
Don't worry. Your definately not a "jerk." Especially after calling my idea stupid. True, I did not know how the forum correctly worked, but I do not take it as seriously as to go out of my way to find these things. I go on it to mingle, and talk about ideas. I try to work something out and you go into ***** mode. Sorry I tried. I didnt know how it worked before I guess, but thanks for telling me now...
Light your intentions are good but i have to agree with the others.I want to earn my way among the ranks of the Premiums not just get there because i spammed like mad for a few hours.
