Vote above on whether or not we should get FM in the US and tell why.

I think we should get it so that we can get more story and play the added bosses.

 

Yes, of course! Not just the US, here in Europe too. Final Mix was a result of the Japs complaining their version had no Sephiroth, so they got FM which had him and all the other stuff. So the English complain that this is unfair, and are ignored. And KH2FM+ was just to spite us further. Coded too, since in the US and Europe there is no chance we will ever get those amazing phones to play it on.

 

Good point. Or if nothing else, the phones will be released just for gaming possibly. Like a new system for handhold gaming. What do think about that as a possibility?

Last I heard, there is no expected date for coded to be released in anywhere but Japan and the fans of the game would buy it. Plus BBS also has no date to be out so it'll be a while. It would be about the same money gain as RE:COM was. But I totally agree with the yes parts.

We could always make a petition or something. lol.

 

well i could add more for no's but lets put it this way

there is absolutly not that same moneyu gain think this is wat u have to do to fm

make a advertisment
make a trailer
make a date release
make all the texts english
make the voices english
fix the x and o things
make it work on a english ps2
make sure its not harmfull to the system
make sure everything in the game works
repeate the smae steps for the millions of copis they are goaana sell
the price will round up to 50 - 30 dollars
Round up all the voice actors
and they spend millions on the advertisment and trailers and the voice actors plus the text
takes time to repeate the testing
takes money to make sure its not harmful
and they dont know if the fans will stay commited to buying it
millions

 

they already have most of the voices done from the first game. They just need to call back a few people unless they just redo Soras voice throughout the entire game but they had to do all that stuff for RE:COM too except they had to get organization. KHFM doesn't have the org.

And the Data battles are in the FM for KH2, not KH1. Though you do fight Xemnas.

i say yes because it would make ppl feel happy to know that they finally have it i mean i have the japanese version and the second final mix but im japanese but i want others to have it so we can agree on something

 

I think he meant affordable for us but expensive for the company or vice versa.

 

I think it'd be nice if Square-Enix decided to sell the final mixes outside of just Japan so that most of us don't have to go through the trouble to buy other software and take apart our PS2s just to be able to play Japanese games. A few extra boss battles and a new difficulty would be nice too.

 

I voted no, not because I wouldn't like to have the extra cutscenes and whatnot, but because without RE:CoM it really wouldn't be worth it. I own and have played the first Final Mix, and I sort of felt like the extra content didn't really justify the cost of buying a whole new game.
If RE:CoM wasn't released in the U.S. and it was going to be packaged with KH2FM+ for a North American release, I'd say 100% yes, but as it stands now I don't think it would sell well.

What I'd really like to see is all videogames become region free so importing wouldn't be such a big deal. PS2s are especially hard to use imports on because of how risky mods/slide cards can be =/.

 

This is true. What they should do is sell a bundle package. It would contain KH1fm/ Re: Com/ KH2FM. It could cost around 60 dollars, it could be worth it. Though...I'm a bit positive it wouldn't sell so much.

But we the fans deserve a bit of love too. I haven't played KH1, and COM for PS2 either, so this...I would definately buy.

 

No. Why? From what I've seen and heard, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is not worth it. It's a few extra scenes, new keyblades, and a Xemnas Battle. It's not that many additions. Preferably, forget that and ask for KH2FM+ to be released outside of japan because there is too many extras that most Kingdom Hearts Fans cannot resist.

 

In my opionion, they should, but there's no point in doing it. Because most of the people would have already bought KH2FM+, there would be less appeal for it in the wider range. People are content with the FM's today and are waiting for the new games such as BBS and Coded.

 

we should get it in US, not fair that only japan gets it.
