Kingdom Hearts III kh3/star wars/marvel O_o`

So....since Disney has recently purchased both the Marvel franchise AND the Star Wars franchise, my boyfriend and I suspect that there will be worlds featured in KH3 based around the two of those. I've never really been a HUGE Star Wars freak or anything, but I would now almost be disappointed if they didn't include one if not both of the franchises.

Does anyone else think it'll happen? Does anyone want to guess which Marvel characters would make an appearance? I would really be open to almost any of them being featured. I think they would be awesome summons. =]

 

No. For one, Marvel wasn't really bought "recently" and it has yet to make an appearance. In fact, Disney said they won't really mess with Marvel and, except for Tron variants for a few issues when the new movie was coming out (and arguably, the cancellation of Spectacular Spider-Man). Also, Marvel and Spider-Man are way too different from KH to appear. And, I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think the way that Disney owns those two doesn't necessarily give them access to their characters in any way. It'd be too difficult to include the two since both Marvel and Star Wars are franchises focused on a universe, not a series with a handful of characters. I could see a Keyblade or two referencing them. Maybe a Star Wars world a la the Pirates of the Caribbean or Tron, but that's far-fetched. I can't see Marvel actually joining KH at all, though.

 

Wouldn't seem right. I can't imagine KH mixing with these things.

 

I would absolutely love if Star Wars was incorporated into the next game. It would sure beat the hell out of sitting through a sing-a-long Atlantica world again.

 

If they aren't original Disney properties, they won't be incorporated.

Simple as that.

Seriously, I can't imagine Sora defeating Darth Vader, LOL. Nor could I see Sora joining The Avengers to save the world. Then again, Tron: Legacy and Pirates of the Carribean did surprise me when I first saw it (Though PoC didn't look that good). I think those are the two only PG-13 movies that's in Kingdom Hearts.

 

Well, I would really like to see a mix between the whole gummi-ship thing and Start Wars

 

i could see it being done. i mean, cartoon network already has that animated star wars series, what's to say they don't do something like that? and it wouldn't necessarily have to be on one of the ships. i mean they go to earth or whatever it is in the series. especially in the last three movies when it's luke and laia. [sp?] if they did do stuff on the space ships, it could be like the whole monstro concept, it's another form of transportation to travel between worlds. idk...just my thoughts.

I actually didn't think about that. Actually, that would fit perfectly! Though I still can't see Sora flying across Earth with Iron Man.

Sure, with the exception that it's more violent, has curse words, is realistic, and has a way more drastic plot, they're pretty much the same!

I'm not saying it's impossible, but just saying...

Take to mind though that I didn't like the original Tron worlds and the Pirate of Caribbeans world.

 

I didn't really care for them either. The tron world i was indifferent about, but i really didn't care for the pirates world as a whole. The graphics, the game play, the story... it felt like they were trying to merge to much. The world and the characters were one graphic style and the kingdom hearts characters were another. It just didn't blend.

 

That's exactly why I think the Avengers as a world would fail. :/

 

I don't think Noruma would use Marvel and Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts TBH. It would be a little strange. And plus The worlds of Star Wars and Marvel don't really mix in with the series. With Star Wars it would be a battle for Noruma to decided if a Keyblade would be stronger then a Lightsaber which it is. And I'm sure if Noruma said a Keyblade IS stronger, a bunch of crazy Star Wars fans are going to go to Japan and hit him with Lightsabers. And if it turns out a Lightsaber is stronger then a Keyblade, a bunch of Keyblade Masters will go and smack the Heartless out of him.

 

I never really thought abut that. How about make them equal, LOL.
