KH3 Main Story Gameplay Confirmed to be Around 40-50 Hours (80+ Hours With Optional Quests)

In a review of the 'Kingdom Hearts III' demo that has been available at events recently, Tony Polanco of Geek.com was able to get confirmation from a Square-Enix representative that completing the main story of the game should take around 40-50 hours (about the same as the previous two main entries in the series), and 80+ hours completing all the optional and side quests. Tony states in his review:

Kingdom Hearts 3 is around 40-50 hours if you stay on the critical path. Including the mini-games, players can expect 80+ hours of content.

Given how long the first was with about 12-17 hours on casual play and KH2 being around 15-20, I'm going to enjoy this. Though i wonder if it comes from the bigger worlds, or the stories will be longer in each world, or more worlds than usual, or my personal hope, we go back to worlds like from KH2.

Overwhelming. I knew I was gonna have some days off work when this comes out to just play the story, but now I'm afraid I'll have to return to work with the weight of being towards the end over me.
