    [SPOILERS]

Okay, well, in (the virtual?) Twilight Town, after Roxas defeats Axel in the mansion, we hear this:

Axel: Let's meet again, in the next life.
    Roxas: Yeah. I'll be waiting.
Axel: Silly. Just because you have a next life...

Then, Axel disappears. But what I don't get is, I thought he was dead then...But he dies later in the game. How does that work? Forgive me for being stupid if the answer is really obvious...

Well I think it is like when he "died" in Chain of Memories. It was just an illusion so people would think he was dead.

Hm.....that is indeed wierd...Axel just went against what he just said. O_O

Umm...the "next life" thing must be about Roxas and Sora joining together. So maybe Axel is saying, "I'll see you when you are with Sora." *shrugs*

Yeah that has been bothering me now I believe it is "We'll see again as our Somebodies." Does Axel still have his?

Hmmm...I'm pretty sure he was just faking it...that and he was wounded after his battle with Roxas. I guess I knew that he was coming back when I first played...but I'm not sure.

Nobodies can fake their own 'deaths'.

And he meant like when Roxas was rejoined with Sora.

"Silly, just because you have a next life."

    Makes sense to me.
