KH2 Final Mix+ Translation Patch?

does anyone know if anybody's gonna make a English patch for the game? there have been other games that got ppl to make English patches, for example: Tales of Destiny 2 is getting one. if anybody knows, mind sharing the website?

 

I would think a translation patch would not be easy. The text files are encrypted in the game and while there are people that are in fact able to do this, the chances of it are probably not very likely. However, I don't think that's going to matter because Nomura would have to be crazy to not release KH2: FM+ worldwide.

 

actually i e-mailed Square and they said that they have no plans to release the game in US :(. i guess i'll google around and see what i can uncover about translation patches for this game.

 

It is also important to note that Square-Enix is known to lie and be mysterious profusely.

what's your idea of their message is wrong, i got the same e-mail (i e-mailed them too) and yeah, they might have no plans to release it in the us, and it's due to incoming projects for square, i'm not sure what goes next, but you get the idea

Yeah, they would get more profit if they just sold KH2 FM without a patch

 

very true, but we have never gotten ANY remakes from Square, tho it is known that they are still debating about COM:RE.

no, non-Square ppl would do this. i sent a message to someone who has done translations on other games and is still working on a translation patch for another game as we speak. i asked if they had plans to make an English patch just for the stuff we need to play cuz the game is dubbed in English. still waiting for a response.

the guy said no. he has no plans to patch this game. he said to just play the original KH2 and if i really wna play KH2FM, learn f***ing Japanese cuz he's not gonna do it. ok, well he didn't have to be rude about it but WTH, ok, feel free to lock this thread.
