Kingdom Hearts II KH2 Final Form

Hi, um people have said that there are tricks to getting Final Form and I tried some and I didn't get it. Does anyone know how to get Final Form in KH2?

 

Getting final form is random. I remember trying to get it for a month before I gave up, and it came up when I was just touring the world's over again. Just keep using drive forms over and over again, and you'll get it eventually.

 

Actually, the official way to get it is when you get to the second save point in TWTNW (the room before the castle) you use the save point to go to Hollow Bastion/Radient Garden. Select Merlin's House, and go outside to fight heartless. Drive into Master form (it MUST be master form) and you should turn into Final instead. After that, it should be in your drive menu. NOTE: It may take a few tries! The first time I did it I ended up with Antiform, but the second time I got it. Don't give up!

 

I just know it's just random when you use Master Form.

But not any form, just Master form. I don't even remember where I got it.

 

... There is no official method.

There is a MUCH higher chance of you getting Final Form in a battle with one of the Org XIII People. So, since Final can only be unlocked after defeating Roxas (In FM, you fight Roxas, in the normal one, you see the cutscene) you have a very good chance of unlocking Final Form if you go fight Xigbar or Saix (Luxord is not possible, as you fight alone). You MUST have at least 5 drive bars when you drive. And, it comes when you least expect it.

As an alternative, if you have the FM version, after fighting Roxas, equip the keyblade that you recieve from him. The ability is "Light and Dark" which gives a 50% chance of Anti-Form and 50% chance of Final Form if you haven't unlocked it yet.

Yeah, there is no garunteed way to do it, in fact the widely accepted method isn't even confirmed.

Anyway the_guardians includes the most common statements. The only thing I would add is that it seems more common going into master than other forms.

 

Are we really sure Light And Dark increases chances of getting it?
It never did to me.
And also, you don't have to have only 5 Drive bars, both your party members must be alive too.

Probably because it adds more Anti-points and increases the chance of getting Anti.
And i think that Final comes out once you've reseted your Anti-points(AKA, getting Anti-form the old way) and drive (with 5 drive bars and both party members alive).
Can't really confirm it, but it seens to be that.

 

I've said this a thousand times in forums like this. YES you do need Five drive bars. Even randomness has a cost, which for final form, is five drive bars.

I know this because my sister struggled with final form for a long time. All she did was raise her drive bar back up to three and shift into valor. She'd get anti alot, but never final. I tell her final cost five drive bars, she does what I say and raises her drive bars up to five and the next form change, after picking valor, she gets final.

It's also important to note that final doesn't appear outside of battle (something my sister also never thought about and we troubleshooted with this alot until we got it). You have to get into a fight and try to shift forms. Boss battles are really helpful (sadly, after you beat Siax and Xemnas I, the only boss you can fight is the final boss and, again, my sister complained that when she'd fight Xemnas II, she'd always seem to get final when she fought the first throne Xemnas. Since you can't save after that point, Final doesn't go into the drive menu).
Allegedly the best way to abuse this is to join certain tournaments over and over again, shifting to valor/wisdom/master and then restarting the tournament.

Also, Two Across (Roxas' keyblade with the Light and Darkness ability in FM+) only allows you to shift into anti or final form. If playing final mix, you should go ahead and equip that keyblade through TWTNW, keeping the other rules in mind:
1) Be in a battle; preferably a boss fight
2) Have five drive bars

Two Across has no useful effect after you obtain final form.

 

Well, I'm at the last save point in TWTNW, will I still be able to get it?

 

You can get it at any point after fighting Roxas, if you have five drive bars. Then you can go around to any world, and try to change to a form, (NOT JUST MASTER) and you may get it. I've heard there is a system to getting Anti and Final, which consists of positive and negative numbers depending on the form. Once you hit a certain point, you can drive into Anti or Final. Off hand, I don't know the numbers...

I got Final from Land Of Dragons, Mountain Pass headed to the temple. I tried Valor, and got it.

 

I got it once, but my parents got pissed at me AND BECAME TOTAL JERKS! AND DELETED ALL THE STUFF IN M MEORY CARD!

I didn't even realize how important it was until I found out. I got it during the Xigbar battle, just use master or valor form with RIku alot in the battles and you'll turn into it giving it to you

 

well there is no method but i would recomend after defeating roxas
go to the colisuem and go to the cerberus cup keep on driving into master till u got it

 

Wouldn't the Cerberus Cup not actually work for this because you need three party members?
I've heard rumor that you're more likely to get it in TWTNW. I don't know if it's true but I was trying to get the form for several hours without success, and when I went to TWTNW I got it first time. I also selected Wisdom form at the time so getting Final isn't restricted to Master form, though it may up the odds. Pretty much, keep five bars charged and pray for the best.
Did anyone else use the amazingly cheap method of going to a save point when your drive form was almost out of time and then leaving the world, fulling restoring the gauge?

 

To get Final Form easiest, you can try what was suggested by doing competitions or what I have always done was just go to TWTNW and mess with the Nobodies in the Castle until it hit, going into Master repeatedly. Make sure your forms are all at their highest level for the easiest way to get it.

 

No special way. it comes to you randomly. Keep using forms and it'll eventually come to you.

 

actually no i just keep driving into master while fighting and eventually i will get it
