Kingdom Hearts II KH2: Battle against Xemnas

Hey! I've been having trouble trying to defeat Xemnas, the final boss. See, I get about half of his health gone and when you are pretty much forced to play as Riku suddenly, I get... um... "distracted" and end up dying? Any tips?

Keep pressing Square button to shoot dark aura at his clone to keep him away from you while slowly making your way toward Xemnas himself.

 

move diagonally right until you're parrallel with Xemnas II and then b-line it to him and Sora.

Moving this way makes it tough for the clone to do anything relevant, since his barriers always face between you and Xemnas. If you start by sorta heading away from that, you'll get pretty close pretty quick.

Dark Aura can fend him off, but I hate how Riku controls. He's so... clumsy. Not as free moving as Sora.

 

Pretty much what he said. Just keep moving and firing dark aura. Run diagonal and when you get close enough to Xemnas and Sora, a reaction command appears. Hit that and you'll change back to Sora in charge. Then just do what you were doing before with Sora and Riku to finish that section of the fight up. The fight does continue though... xD

 

I know the fight continues because I've seen it done here on KH-vids and my friend tried teaching me how, but when I say "distracted" I mean I, like, sit there and drool because I'm a major Riku fangirl and I can't help myself sometimes. Thanks for the tips, though! n.n

 

well hard to help with that. I guess you could allways pause the game until you get over it and then continue.

 

well if that doesn't work, you can always do what I did and sprial into the real Xemnas in stead of just getting parallel and -lining it. It always works for me

I just move forward, then time dark aura just before he uses his shield. But that method's kinda tricky, because it needs exact timing.

Oh well.

Well it works for me..

But i was gonna say that you can use your SoraXRiku drive to make yourself want to see the movie after where it seems Sora is grabbing Riku's butt
