One of the things I will be having my mom get me is a wired keyboard and mouse set. The current wireless keyboard and mouse I'm getting tired of. I have to frequently replace the battery in my wireless mouse, but that's not really the issue. The bigger issue is that my wireless keyboard, for whatever reason, will sometimes stop working or the typing will lag before it stops working completely and I have to keep moving it around until it starts working again and I have to keep doing that over and over until it finally works flawlessly again. It's been even worse with my current computer desk placement, but I've had my desk here before, so I don't know what the issue is, especially considering my mouse doesn't have this issue, and it's the same distance away from the USB receiver plugged into the back of my computer.

Anyway, I need some help. For the longest time, I've just been using shrink-wrap plastic to protect my keyboard, but I want to get an actual keyboard protector and don't know which one to get because my mom said keyboard protectors won't work with or fit all keyboards and I need the one for that specific keyboard.

Would this work? It says "Accessory and fits for AmazonBasic wireless keyboard KT-1081A for Android devices." It says AmazonBasic, which is what the bundle I'll be getting is, but I'm not sure about the Android part.

    Here's the bundle: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B7GV802/

Edit: For some reason, the link was automatically being parsed into media code, so I've surrounded it in PLAIN tags.

No, that won't work. The keyboard in the bundle is model KU-0833. You need one that fits that specific model. If you compare the images they don't really look alike.
I hate to say it but you might be out of luck on this one. Keyboard protectors don't exist for all brands; you could try a universal one like this but it's definitely not a guaranteed fit (in fact it will most likely not be quite right). You could also try ordering a custom one, but customer reviews don't look altogether promising (I see one that says s/he received an empty box even lol).

It might be better to just keep using shrink-wrap plastic, then. xD

Where did you find the serial number, though? I didn't see it anywhere.

Oh, LOL! I don't often scroll down that far. I just add stuff to that cart and move on.

I would recommend reading about what you're paying for before you purchase, haha.

Can I ask why you need a keyboard protector in the first place? I'm not surprised they have limited availability because I've never heard of anyone using one. If you get your dirty often, I'm pretty sure Logitech makes a washable keyboard.

I'm not always spilling things on it, but it just gets dirty over time naturally from dust. Using the shrink-wrap plastic has kept me from having to take all the keys off and wash them.

I could always tell when my keyboards were dirty because after taking all the keys off and washing them and then putting them back on, typing was nice, soft, and a little quieter.
