Oh my goodness, it's awesmome [I know I spelled that wrong, get over it]! Add some color or something to the bottom left corner, even if it's relly light. It looks a bit bare over there. ;3
I love all the Keep Tryin' pictures Utada took. :3 Anyway, I definitely like whatever you did with the stock, and the scanlines are a nice addition, but I'm feeling a bit of a disconnect between the stock and the effects. The background is very serious, but the stock is kind of cutesey. I guess it was a request though, so you didn't have much control... Text is pretty ugly, and the stock is kind of dead-center. Your smudging is nice, but there's no real foreground (that's something I struggle with!). Try adding something more, because it looks quite empty.
