Keep on Going

Even though the day seems rough
and you just want
to lay down and cry
and even though you feel
as if you can go no further
just remember to always
take the next step
because it can lead you
in the right direction

When the going gets tough
and you want to go no further
just remember
to never give up
and to keep going
no matter what may happen

Because if you stay behind
all of your friends will continue on
for a happier life
and you should go with them
and do what is right

Even though you see others stay behind
do not do as they do
for it will only lead to trouble
and if you keep going
and take the next step
then you can rest easier

By taking that one simple step
you can begin your journey
on the right path
but if you stay behind
then how are you
suppossed to start your journey
to a better life?
